Reminds me of the girl I went to college with in the 90’s who claimed she didn’t know who Michael Jordan was.The Juggler said:Correct and Correct.
I can't believe I never knew he was Warren. And I just happened to watch that with my wife a few weeks ago.
GET THIS.....my wife, who was 16 when that movie came out claims to have NEVER HEARD OF IT. One of the biggest movies of that decade and she was in the targeted demographic for it and she has no recollection. None. The zipper scene didn't even jog her memory. Isn't that wild? I don't know how that is possible.0 -
In the scene where Elaine discovers her lookalike mannequin in a compromising position, she claims Jerry is her lawyer, and Natasha asks what law she is breaking. Jerry mentions a fake case and a fake hearing. Name them both._ vs _The _ _ HearingsYour boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

The hearings is something along the lines of McCarthur, McCartney, McCarver (something like that)HughFreakingDillon said:In the scene where Elaine discovers her lookalike mannequin in a compromising position, she claims Jerry is her lawyer, and Natasha asks what law she is breaking. @The Juggler
edit to add: and the “case” Jerry sites is one of the more obscure references I’ve ever seen a tv show make.Post edited by HughFreakingDillon onYour boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -

Name as many SNL cast members that have appeared on the show as you can. There’s a couple, including a voice cameo that’s one of the ultimate Seinfeld Easter eggs.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Great question. First two I can think of are Rob Schneider and Molly Shannon. Not sure if they count, but Bob Odenkirk and Larry David were writers.Ledbetterman10 said:Name as many SNL cast members that have appeared on the show as you can. Those are the ones I had (forgot Garofalo though). If we’re adding writers, Dave Mandel (asks George to join his frolf group for the back nine) and Steve Koren (“Hey Bodysuit Man!”) can be added. The Easter egg I mentioned is Phil Hartman is the voice of the AMA guy on the phone with Elaine when she’s being a “difficult” patient.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Wasn’t Elaine’s roommate on SNL for a minute? For some reason, I can sort of picture her in a skit.0

Great catch. She was there for like part of a season.Hobbes said:Wasn’t Elaine’s roommate on SNL for a minute? I have never caught this, and only did from having subtitles on. I’m really curious if anyone knows the answer. When Kramer talks about his book "Astonishing Tales of the Sea", he references another book he’s working on. What’s the name of this book?0

Astonishing Bear Attacks. But I don't think he's working on them, even though he says "It's in my book." I always took that as "it's in a book I own." But...knowing Kramer, maybe he is the author of those books.Vitalogensia said:I have never caught this, and only did from having subtitles on. Speaking of the Andria Doria, I loved seeing it referenced in that Titan disaster documentary. Apparently they tested their soon-to-be-doomed sub at the Andria Doria wreck site. If you can even call it a wreck. It eased into the ocean like an old man into warm bath.
Edit: Actually, it's not "Astonishing Bear Attacks" because "astonishing" is already used in the Tales of the Sea book. Maybe it's "Amazing" Bear Attacks? Can't remember.Post edited by Ledbetterman10 on2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Impressive! “Astounding Bear Attacks”. I see your point, and perhaps Julie could accuse me of being pedantic, but when Kramer says “my” I take it to mean the same as when he talks about his coffee table book.Ledbetterman10 said:

Was watching the 30 for 30 documentary on ESPN about Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry and they showed this clip from the '86 season. Is that Seinfeld at the :56 mark?
