I am visiting my parents now. My dad used to keep it freezing in here during the summer. But now that my parents are older - this is me.

    Kevin gets one.
Kramer gets one, and in a later episode we learn that they botched it and now he's even more potent.
Jerry and Newman are waiting to get one but bolt after they see Kramer's pain following his.
Kevin came back with a short-haired Elaine to get his reversed, but we don't see if he follows through.

My parents are 76. Same here. "put on a sweater if you're cold" was what we got growing up. Now their thermostat regularly says 25 C (77 F)

An Ostrich burger is referenced twice.

    Describe those two references.

This is such a good question, it's be on my mind for days.  I seem to remember a time George asks someone if they've ever had an ostrich burger, then gives a sarcastic smile when they say they haven't.  But I'm not confident on that, nor can I think of a second time.

Yep.....when Jerry tells George he is sleeping with his maid George goes: "Wow! You're sleeping with your maid?!? I've done that...........have you ever eaten an ostrich burger?"

Now what's that other ostrich reference?

  • The other one is when Elaine asks Jerry and George to guess what she has eaten and George guesses an ostrich burger. It was the episode when Elaine eats a slice of Peterman's vintage cake lol

    Wow that's a tough one. I've got a few...

-He's one of the Yankees that praise the cotton uniforms
-Upon being hired by the Yankees, George tells a story about talking to Mattingly about his batting stance
-I think someone might've gone to the same doctor as Mattingly, but I can't remember who, or if I'm just making this up

Was he mentioned in the Keith Hernandez episodes?  Maybe someone said they preferred Mattingly over Hernandez?
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

100% correct on one and very close on the other two.

He was mentioned in The Chaperone” which is the cotton uniforms episode. In the very last scene, after the uniforms have shrunk, the TV announcer says “Oh my God! Mattingly just split his pants!”  To which Jerry replies “that’s a shame”.

In “The Opposite” he is mentioned after George gets a job with the Yankees. It was also the only time he was referred to as “Donnie Baseball” on the show.

In “The Wait Out” which is the episode where Jerry and Elaine are trying to date Beth and David who have just broken up, David at one point mentions that Beth use to be Don Mattingly’s doctor.

Well done! There are 3 more that I know of if anyone else has a guess.

I don’t believe this is one of them, but it feels like it should be! 🙂
