I won the box set @ the Feedback lounge release party in Seattle, but I had been too consumed with trying to get an E.V. ticket to open it.
After finally getting one to the 2nd show @ Benaroya Hall, maybe I will open it right now.
    It sure is heavy!

  • Am I correct in that Vitalogy has NOT been remastered for this? All the wording indicates that only Vs. has been remastered. Can someone please clarify? Thanks.

Vitology is remastered.Brendan O'Brian was on PJ radio,he played a few tracks from Vitology.Tremor Christ,Nothingman. Both songs said remastered, next to the song title, Nothingman (Remastered). My question is this..why was I Got Shit/Long Road left off this release? This package says 1993/95,wasnt the I got Shit single released in 1995?Also,I thought the b sides should have been included. The package is very nice, glad I bought it.A few have said, the Orpheum show is not complete, because a few songs got messed up during the recording.I dont know how true this is,but the show, with the download, is well worth it IMO.

Cool. Thanks for the updated info. The sticker on the front and the flyer on the back of the SD Box only indicate that Vs was remastered, that's why I started questioning it. Thanks.

OK,also, when I ripped the Vitology into my iTunes library, each song says remastered next to it.Last Exit (2011remaster)

Just a heads up here: iTunes (in the UK at least - haven't checked other counties) is including the Self Pollution broadcast + 'exclusive' artwork as past of of their Vs/Vitalogy/Orpheum 'iTunes LP' digital download.

Just a heads up for anyone who didn't order the Super Deluxe set but really wants to get their hands on the Self Pollution broadcast by legitimate means ;) It's £12.99 altogether.

The mix on the Orpheum LP sounds amazing.

It seems like we never get anything on time anymore. We used to get our pre-orders a day or two before the release date, now it's a week after the release date.

Anyone else have loud popping on the entire first half of Blood on the second side of the Vs Lp?
It is not a needle issue either. It disappears halfway thru the song.

Edit: Nevermind, I somehow managed to already surface scratch that side of the album on the outer edge. :(

    Thank you for posting these!

Seeing pictures of all those old stickers brings back good memories. I had them tacked all over my stuff back in the day.

Just got mine here in Reno, NV... Haven't opened it up yet, because I don't know if I want to fully nerd out and record myself unboxing it...

Surprised it showed up this early, since in the email it said it would be between 5 & 8 business days. Between the weight and the fact that it was shipped via DHL/USPS, that's a recipe for delays up the wazoo.

is it just me, or does the acoustic hold on sound like modern eddie singing it?

I'll be the first to  the 10Club. Ive been a little critical of late, but this looks great.
The double Orpheum vinyl is fantastic news, as well as the extras.

    Great job 10C.

So the Orpheum is not complete show then?

good question. Interesting answer. I ordered the 93/95 box set and have it in my hands (and my ears as we speak). For the CD set (not the super deluxe set). The CD of the live Orpheum show has about 14 songs. a few days before I got the box set in the mail, I was emailed a link to download about 8 songs from the Orpheum show. I checked it against the disc they sent me and they were different tracks.

That being said, it appears you get the whole show if you order through Ten Club. A little more than half comes on a physical CD, and the rest is the download. Since I run almost everything through my iPod, I was able to stitch it together for a full show. This is a great gem, because it was during the period I wasn't able to see the band. I don't think anyone did. They were boycotting Ticketbastard and getting tix for those shows was an epic fubar. I fully understand and dig the integrity piece, but I didn't get to see PJ after Ten until Yield.

Closing thoughts > if you don't have any of the remaster sets... buy the Ten one first. It is amazing. An absolute better mix on Ten, and comes with the never commercially released Unplugged set.

animal, go, and i've got a feeling are missing (which is a shame, since the latter was about 18 minutes long) due to no multitracks being available.
