I don't want to keep drilling on about this point, but it would be really great if 10C could make some comment here as things appear to be going from bad to worse, with people's orders being cancelled without warning.

i fully realise what is happening is not entirely within the control of 10C but surely this partner they have picked to help them ultimately help fans and consumers get a PJ product cheaper and more effectively, is going pear shaped - and this is the first day of release of the reissues...or what is date supposed to be now? 29/3 or 11/4 or ???

so come on 10C, help us out here - tell us what is going on please!!

yup i agree but what i want to know is if they were sent then the issue is purely a shipping one? or has MyPlay's database crashed and the addresses are wrong and they can't work out where to ship the stuff? or are things just "stuck in the system", as i was told (that's helpful information.... :roll: )

even if MyPlay says, sorry we TOTALLY screwed up, can you all please order again and we will have them sent out by x date would be better than silence or non-sensical responses and cancellation or orders. they'd still have A LOT of pissed off fans but at least we'd know where we stand. i wouldn't even DREAM of getting free shipping or some sort of compensation for this cock up as clearly basic customer service seems to be beyond them.

Do we know how many people have had there orders cancelled and what reason was given? Has this happened today? I'm at work and don't have access to my tracking number. Are they emailing people about these cancelations or are they finding out about it on the myplay site when they check there order? I'm kinda worried here need someone to at lease ease my fears abit haha

I happened to me (I received the mail this morning) and, apparently, another one wrote on the French PJ forum that he's in the same situation.

The reason given: "There were problems with your address so we canceled your order. If you're still interested, you'll have to preorder again."

They just don't have the balls to admit they made a mistake when they forgot to add the VAT on the first day of the pre-order and now they are apparently canceling the European pre-orders that were made before they added the VAT.

They are a bunch of liars saying that there were problems with the address. How could it be any easier to ship the box to the same address if you would order again :? ?

Mine has not been cancelled and I made the order after they added the VAT to the price. As dimitris suggested you can check your mailbox and search for the mail with the subject: "Pearl Jam Store Order Receipt for Order..." and was sent from: Pearl Jam Store Customer Service. If you have a search feature in your mail try that and then in the mail you can click the link to see the status of the order. Mine says: "Received for Processing. Pre-Order - Ships on or before April 11, 2011" :(

Especially since (after the first mail they sent) I replied, saying that I found it weird there was a problem.

And I gave them (again) my address. :?

They DID receive my answer, I'd rather they say: "we made a mistake, concerning the VAT".

I would have been disappointed, but, at least, they would have been honest.

I don't know. I really think they should send them to our mailboxes today and charge our credit/de bit cards right away. But if the status for many European orders is: "Received for Processing. Pre-Order - Ships on or before April 11, 2011" then I just don't know. If I remember correctly they said that a link for the bonus tracks will be sent by e-mail on release date that is 03/29/11. Has the release date been postponed to 04/11/11 or the date the box is sent out? Not in my opinion.
