For what it's worth I didn't experience the same issue with the Tex box that 10C shipped - so in defense of 10C, they were more on top of it than what Son'y appears to be, in my experience.

I had problems with 10C for the Ten box, because they sent it UPS and it went through customs... It was the first time that happened, and huge extra costs were required, and I was not able to pay them...
When they sent me the orange AMES book, that was more expensive, it had gone through USPS and customs never got it...

The problem here is that, because as a record release they try to get box sets on the day of release they have to use a courier service (UPS) to guarantee that. So they stopped international orders because customs checked them and gave them to a third party, that really doesn't care as much, but ensures that there will be no trouble with customs since it's inside the E.U. (in my case)...

Finally just got an email stating that my order has been processed and will ship within 1 business day. It also says it will take 5-8 days average for delivery. Assuming it ships tomorrow, that means I might not get it (in PA) until the following week. Wow, that's disappointing.

Yup, just got mine too. It is a little disappointing that we have to wait simply because we're loyal fans.

Have any other Canadians that ordered the super deluxe get their shipping email? I'm so happy about the 4 to 8 week for delivery sentence and the cherry on top is the 'there are no tracking numbers for international orders'...Ahhh, it's the LOXL episode again and I'm not fond of re-runs.

Absolutely pathetic. Shipping is 25% higher than for Ten which took 4 shipping days, and we're going to have to wait in Canada 4-8 weeks (which is typically a little more than 5 weeks ). I'm seriously fed up of being treated like this by the club. I mean people in other countries all over world the are already receiving it, and their immediate neighbours are just now getting ship notices with comments that we're getting the usual shipping shaft. Why do I even bother supporting these goofs!!! Maybe from now on I'll just steal the music from online sources rather than paying for it through the club.

I'll take this back only if I find out that the e-mail is wrong and the usual form e-mail, but somehow I doubt that's the case.

Hey, bone. You have the power. Suggestion: write a letter to TC and explain the situation and your thoughts. Don´t just post it like this in the threads.

Remember all they did say was that it would be shipped by street date. Never did they say you would have in your hands by this date, and if they ever mentioned it, i am sure they said they would try their best. You pushed the "buy" and "submit" buttons, and I am sure they did not force you. It´s your money and you can take the business elsewhere, unless you ordered the box set, of course. Again, contact them and if they don´t answer back in a manner that would please you, or don´t answer at all, you´ll get the idea what kind of business this is.

I hope you receive it quickly, but be patient. I have to wait until july to buy it.

You know it will be a form e-mail anyways. It's just annoying that they use DHL which takes five weeks as it travels by boat to Australia, then to the UK then to Canada, when it would cost the same through UPS with guaranteed 3-4 delivery (with tracking) by taking a direct 1000 mile route from the Seattle warehouse to Edmonton .
