Do the Foo's typically have ticket pre sales? Fan club?

They do have presales, but you just have to sign up for the email alert. The password is usually readily available, so usually the amount of people trying for tickets is high. Seats aren't as choice as Pearl Jam either.

Going through other bands presales make you appreciate the tenclub even more. The lottery is actually nice compared to the wrigley sale last friday

The flip side of this is The FF play lots of shows and many in unique small intimate locations.PJ has got away from this.

Absolutely. I completely agree with you on that point. Secondary market prices are usually more reasonable too with larger tours (if you need to go that route).

Man, just went to watch the recorded 60 minutes and the NFL game ran over and I ended up missing the FOO's segment because the recording stopped. I really wish these DVR's would adjust the recording schedules if other programs run over.

This last episode was sick. I've been following the bad brains since I was in 8th grade. It was fucken unreal to see the bad brains get the recognition they so deserve. Just seeing all these people praising them was cool shit. To see the list of bands that were influenced by the bad brains (yes, even pj) was awesome. It saddens me to think that the days of seeing this band perform live are coming to an end. Thankfully I've gotten to see them so many times as I grew up in so cal and in NYC. Nothing will ever beat July 4th 1995 whiskey, the deftones opened up for them. It was the last show I got to see before I moved to jersey. The next day I was off to jersey. If by chance you get to see these guys, jump all over it. You lucky fuckers in chile (?) got to see them with pearl jam. Even Ed thanked them at the end of their set. Awesome show to include DC and the bad brains. Thanks for doing this episode.

Shut out again from Wrigley. So if anyone comes across 2-4 tickets let me know! (Just trying to avoid stubhub/Craigslist).

Damn! It took me 21 minutes to get out of the virtual waiting room. And of course, nothing there by then. I also clicked on the buy tickets 1 minute or so before 10:00 a.m. and was let in. Did they start early?

I was going to get tickets for my brother's 30th birthday since its 3 days after his birthday and wasn't even able to pull a single 15 minutes after the tickets went on sale. I hate tickets.com!!!!

It would let you in prior to the 10am Central time, but you couldn't buy tickets.

I hopped on around 10:00am and got right in (no virtual waiting room). I was quite surprised given what a C.F. last Friday was on the cubs website. In hindsight I should have got more than the 2 seats I needed (not to make a profit but to help out some other local fans who got snubbed in both online sales).

Very lucky to have scored 2 in 112 in the presale. Never been to Chicago before and really f'n excited!!

Sonic Highways has been absolutely amazing so far, too. Blown away by the series and loving the new songs. Love the quality you can always expect from the Foos!

Can't believe how easy I scored. Friday was a joke and I got notta. Today I got on exactly at sale time, no virtual room and withing 2 seconds, got 2 GA! Like I hit the lottery. Can't wait for the show!
