    What did you guys think of the opener The Struts (if they opened your show)? I looked up some you tube videos earlier and I can't say that I was impressed.

    Both shows at the Anthem in DC were great. Nice to see them in a smaller club. I thought the Struts put on a great show. They had the crowd going.

    ^ Pierce definitely killed it, but it seemed a bit planned to me. It was entertaining nonetheless. They really brought it and played close to 3 hours! Highlights of the night for me Run, The Pretender, The Sky is a Neighborhood, Something from Nothing and Skin N Bones. The Struts were energetic, over the top and made me laugh, "put your hands up, get em up, up up, put em up"!!! Loved the theatrical bows after each song.

    new song called "Soldier" out today on the 7 Inches for Planned Parenthood album. Concrete and Gold outtake. 
    Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall

    yeah. probably one of the most boring songs I've ever heard. But I will reserve final judgment for a headphone listen. sometimes just listening at work on my shitty ipod dock can turn a good song into a snoozer.

    I thought it seemed staged at first as well. But after reading about it the next couple days, it seems like a legit impromptu moment.

    I'm in for Wrigley. I'll probably do the Cubs vs Cardinals series the weekend before and just stay all week until the show on 7/29.
