Not sure why I like them cause I'm really not into any other music like that. They just make me shake my booty.

THE TRAGICALLY HIP Canadian band who have been around since the late eighties and are huge in Canada, selling out arena's across the country.

For those of you who don't know of them, I believe this would be a suitable introduction. (But what do I know)
The frontman is Gord Downie, a classic man.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv9rlAAX ... re=related <-- A different perspective. Pay attention to his facial expressions and body language. Remind you of somebody ?

I think Fall Out Boy's first 3 efforts are awesome... I love 'em and have zero shame in that fact. I also love New Found Glory.

Ha ha, yeah I was trying to think what to write about how into her shows she gets. It blew me away when I saw her, you don't expect piano playing to be so well sexually charged!! Jeez she grinds away on the piano bench, sorry don't wanna get crude but yeah jeez no other way to explain the way she is/was!

She does grind away at her piano. That is so true. It's hot ! So hot ! Oh, Tori. She'll even play two pianos at a time.

Yep, that's the way I've heard it described too.

  • its disturbing to me anyone would be ashamed to like the music they like. Especially the bands listed here, Death Cab, Coldplay, Killers, u2, tori, em. as far as im concerned thats quality music.
  • I love it!!!!! Keep it going. I guarantee at least one person will look into something they have never heard of/scoffed at and find a new passion for their playlist.

One thing musically i have ALWAYS prided myself on is that I have NEVER had a second favorite band. They just don't stick; not because they are not good, there is just so many of them over the years, that it is forever changing.

There are only two constants in my musical life; Pearl Jam has always and forever remained at the top, and NOT A SINGLE OTHER thing is constant lol

But the best part of this thread is that of all the "shouldn't likes" listed..... not one post dissing someones choice. Thats the best. Love what you love, and don't feel you should ever have to justify it

Keith Urban. Impressive on the guitar live.

Norah Jones and Regina Spektor. Nothing else I listen to is remotely close in genre to them. Its like they snuck past the rock'n'roll security guards that guard my ipod when they weren't looking. Maybe they flirted to get in.... :D
