Rodgers plays in GB and has for several years. I don't think the cold will be an issue for either team. The field surface favors the offense. they know where they want to go, unlike the D.
assuming no turnovers, it should be a close game. if turnovers come into play, we could see a blow out.[/quote]
Rodgers is 4 & 3 in cold wether. Cold weather is cosidered 30 degees or less. Forecast for Sunday is 22.
yeah, i don't see home field being much of an advantage, other than a little crowd noise. very minor. both are cold weather teams. packers play in chicago every year. not much advantage here.
But they don't play for a chance to go to the Super Bowl.
Playing at Soldier Field is a huge advantage, especially in a do or die game as this.
HUGE.
sure you want the game at home and you want the crowd behind you. yes there is some home field advantage, but not a ton. if the game was vs. a dome team, a team from a warm climate, or a game vs a non divisional opponent, then i would concede, home field would be worth more.
What few tickets that were available to the public yesterday...... sold out in 60 seconds.....
My buddy had a pair in his cart on ticketmaster yesterday. But with all the info you have to type he couldn't do it fast enough and lost them. I'm sure they are selling for $1000.00 on ebay now. LOL
Nice to see you around here.

The adrenaline rush of running out onto one's home field, in such a monumental game,
has to be off the charts before anyone even touches a football.
Im kind of scratching my head as to what a ton of the Bears season ticket holders are doing......
They have had season tickets for generations...right???
They go to EVERY fucking game for the last 10-20 years...right???
Now they have the BIGGEST game ever played at Soldier Field...
Bears-Packers for the NFC championship.....
And they are flipping their tickets on ebay??? Really??
I understand that the money they make will pay for their seasons tickets for next year...I get that...
But you would think that they would want to be at this game....Right???
It doesnt get any better than this.....Right???
Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

That wouldn't happen in GB. hehehe
Of course it would cause money is money and we all have a price.
But yea that sucks biggest game ever and they would rather sell then go.

Watching these ebay auctions the last 2 days has been pure entertainment.......
2 minutes left in any auction....And the prices just shoot through the roof.....

I know a lot of season ticket holders and they are all going. I know a lot didn't go to the Seattle game. Hence that's why the crowd was extra rowdy because a lot of people who don't get to go to Bears playoff games finally got to go. But I think most season ticket holders are going. Some might have 4 seats and want to sell 2 of them but shit I would go if I had season tickets.

You would think for a die-hard Bears fan...This would be THE GAME....
The GAME you have been waiting your entire life to witness.....
And ya sell the ticket for a few thousand dollars??? Really???
I just find that really fucking weird....
3k is a ton of money...I get that
But Packers-Bears for the Superbowl is a once in a lifetime....right???
Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Unfortunately, from a flipper's perspective, no, it doesn't.
It's really disappointing, disheartening that it all comes down to the almighty dollar.
You'd think there is nowhere else in the world that the season ticket holders would rather be
than in their seats at Soldier Field on Sunday.
The tickets that went up yesterday were snapped up by brokers.
The common man didn't have a chance in hell, sadly.
Myself??? Fuck yeah I would had flipped a ticket if I would have gotten one....
Then I would have watched the game on TV...Just like I have done for the last 30 years....
But to see so many season tickets holders flip those tickets....its kind of weird....
They have lived their entire lives waiting for this game...
ITS THE BEARS-PACKERS FOR THE FUCKING SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, all of the crappy games, the horrendous weather, the blow-outs,
barely squeaking by come from behind victories...they were there for it all.
Yet when it comes down to the biggest game that has ever been played on Lake Michigan,
they are at home, or at a bar when they could be THERE!
I don't understand it either. Fans dream of a game like this, and some will never get the opportunity,
or even get close.

My wife and I have talked about buying a PSL. If we do, we would sell 4-6 games a year. I think a majority of season ticket holders sell some of their games. I think the most logical way to approach having season tickets is cover your cost and then go to the remaining games. BTW, I would definifitely sell this game if I had season tickets.
