Hi all. Just an FYI for all you NYers.

I work in the area and last night the Beer Table Pantry in the Lexington Corridor of Grand Central Station got a few cases of Faithfull Ale in. I picked up one bottle and as of about 20 minutes ago they still had a few unopened cases.

    Enjoy!

Thank you! Thank you! I sent my hubby over, as he works near there, and he picked up 2 bottles. Very happy, as I had struck out 3 times in NJ.

Interestingly, when he was there, they said someone had just called in an order for 8 bottles...want to bet those will be on Ebay before today is over?

If they will be they will be but I just hope my post didn’t put them there.

Here’s to Jersey City looking out for Hoboken.

    Cheers.

Binny's in Naperville had some as of late last night. Had to ask for it though and they seemed to not want to part with it! The guy said this is very very limited ......
"If I knew where it was I would take you there...."
  • Binny's in Schaumburg and Bloomingdale (IL) are sold out, and I bought the second to last or last one from the Naperville location.

Has anyone had any experience in shipping the beer? Or shipping beer in general?

I'm looking to send a bottle to a friend but I've never done it and wasn't sure the best way to pack and how much it will cost to ship.

I would put it in one of those skinny rectangular boxes that wine is packaged in for gifts and bubblewrap the whole box. Then put it in another box.

did it already??? with UPS, Fedex, USPS, DHL???
I am trying to send one also... don't want issues with the post office!!

CASES??? wow, well done. Still skunked in San Fran.

Ok, I think I've stooped to an all time PJ low.

I am sending my pops out for a Faithfull Ale hunt this weekend back home in Massachusetts. There is a place in my hometown that appears to be carrying it, so, I sent my parents the link and stated this was all I wanted for Christmas.

I felt kind of bad but when I told my mom not to go any further than my hometown looking for this, she said she'd make my dad drive all over the state to get it for me. In my mom's words, "Oh Jon, thank you! This will keep your father occupied for hours and out of the house, thank you for that early Christmas gift!"

Ha! I love my mom. :D
