I know all reports from the state of texas so far have been negative... but anyone have any news?

I just wanted to try one... I don't think I'll like it, fruit-flavored beers usually are not my thing, but I did want to try it.... :(
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

    81, mammasan23-do you still want a bottle?

somebody else here (in Seattle) wanted a bottle... (ok, I'll search thru the thread...)

Where in Seattle did you find some? :)

A wine shop in Snohomish county. I did go there when the beer was first announced and told the owner about it. I had to commit to buying a case of it, so I think she special ordered it for me. While I was there, I also asked about Ed's wine...

  • I have 2 bottles secured, but those are send to an address in the USA. But I will be there in January.

I would really love to get 2 bottles before the end of the year.

I'm still looking for someone that can send 2 bottles to the Netherlands.

I found out that 2 bottles can be shipped with USPS as a flat rate box for about $50 to $60.

So who can help me out? I will also pay for your bottle.

Please let me know if you can help. As a thank you I will also send you a show specific Rotterdam 2009 shirt size XL.

Been calling all over Oregon the past few weeks with no luck, some guy told me today his distributor told him the NW isn't getting that beer but it seems it has shown up in Seattle? This has shown a light on how retarded the craft brewing industry is. Some choice quotes heard lately. "Huh? Dogfish? Ha! We never get their stuff!" "Evertime I mention Dogfish to my dist. He rolls his eyes" "that's just the way this industry" What a joke...

For anyone in Seattle still looking (yesterday and today have been somewhat easy days to find it around here), I was at Chuck's Hop Shop in the north end (85th and 8th NW) and they had a few(5-6) bottles left after I bought mine. The guy that helped me said that he "thought" they had a 1 bottle limit, which I am okay with, already tried it last night, just wanted to grab another today. This was about 45 minutes ago, so I would assume there are still a few left. As for the 1 bottle limit, if you really wanted to, I think you could convince the guy to sell you two. As he rang me up he asked what was so special about it to demand a $15 price point and I found myself trying to explain it, but not having the right words at the time. Think I said something like "It's just awesome."

$15 isn't that steep... After all, we've seen $300 backpacks and $500 blu-rays in the past month or so. PJ can have a few more of my bucks for a good beer (especially considering proceeds go to charity)... Least its not going to a flipper. ;)

Good luck to everyone on their hunt for this tasty brew and cheers.

she said all the shops were limited to one case each...and she sold me her entire case since I was the first one to ask about it. I paid $16 something a bottle.

Find any of their beers near you ... http://www.dogfish.com/brews-spirits/fish-finder.htm

Their disclaimer is that when it's up on the fish finder, call, because this says they have SHIPPED to a location, but it doesn't mean the location still has it in stock.

So, I found another bottle at another store here in AZ. Came to $26 total.

Came home and told my wife, excited about my finds.

She said, "You spent WHAT on two bottles of beer that have a Pearl Jam label on them?!"

My response was, "Yep, pretty much."

Gonna drink one and store the other.

    What did everyone else spend?

Tampa Update - Because I'm a nice guy...

Total Wine & More in Tampa was down to its last case (2/2) at around 6pm today(Nov 3) and are not expected to get any more from the distributer.

Whole Foods (in the same complex) - claims to be getting a case of it next Wednesday. He didn't sound 110% tho.

They limited it to one person person at Total Wine with the product being kept at Guest Services. I was fortunate to score two bottles because I convinced a friend to go with me :)

I think more places will be getting it in the Tampa area especially because of the demand. Best of luck to you all!
