    I highly doubt it although I would love it considering I am an hour and a half from all Pocono locations!!!!

    poconos were rumored for a phish festival in the past, however if you assume it to be at the raceway, they are booked all summer long for racing school, so thats a no go.

    Same here, and we didn't get that last rumored show at Montage(Sno Mountain).

    While I would like the Pocono's for logistical reasons, I still think it will be Alpine.

    I'm pretty sure the raceway would make about 10,000% more money on a weekend festival then they would for the 100 people that go to racing school that weekend.

    i've heard they have an opening one weekend in june and another towards the end of july.

    i've heard they have an opening one weekend in june and another towards the end of july.

    I'm pretty sure they would move the racing school dates to those weekends if there was really a PJ festival planned. It would bring in sooooooooooooooooooo much more money to that raceway. It's all about money and if they held it there it would be an insane amount of money and a great place to have it. That place is friggin huge.

    I don't care where it is. I would just like to know when. I'd be happy to know what month it will be. My summer plans are totally on hold at this point. I'd like to book a family vacation but I'm waiting for the announcement. Hoping it comes soon.

    2011 will be a yearlong celebration of Pearl Jam’s twenty-year history. The anniversary festivities kick off in a few weeks with the release of Live on Ten Legs.

    A hint of what more to expect in the months ahead:

    - A spring reissue of Vs. and Vitalogy in new, deluxe formats;
    - The release of Cameron Crowe’s film, Pearl Jam Twenty, along with an accompanying book and soundtrack album;
    - A 20th anniversary destination weekend bash sometime in late summer;

    Can't wade through 30 pages, but has anyone mentioned the possibility of them playing this weekend bash at the Bonnaroo site in Manchester, TN? I know that Bonnaroo now owns that entire complex and it would a.) be available b.) able to handle pretty much all PJ fans who wanted to go and c.) it's a venue they played and enjoyed quite a bit when they headlined.

    Of course, being outside of Nashville myself, it's wishful thinking on my part. Still thinking somewhere like Alpine Valley or the like that can handle a weekend bash.
