well...had to break down and purchase new socks this evening. last one's lasted a solid 8 or 9 months. i wonder if i am wearing them wrong? anyone have any tips?

went with "premium" cotton this time. i figure that might buy me an extra few months?

i have a tip for extended sock life.
    trim your nasty ass toenails.
trimmed toenails do not catch the stitching inside the sock ripping the sock(s) apart by pulling the thread apart with nasty ass toenails.

badgers and wolverines do not wear socks. why? because they have large sharp claws that ruin socks.
the jeagler, you are not a fur bearing critter whom lives in a hole (you dug or stole) underground now are you?

    trim your f'ing claws.

I rarely wear socks anymore since I live in Georgia. I do have some pairs from where I used to live that I bought some 5 years ago, I would say they are wearable but the elastic on them is going.

the last time I wore socks was when the Seahawks spanked the Rams @ MNF

Damn that was a cold night at he stadium...

(the following is for thread intregity-just for you Jiggles)

Sock Stats= knee high, cotton blend
Sock average=3rd time worn, still good condition. Worn for appx 8 hours

Previously, the last time I wore socks was in Canananadah-Edmonton to be exact.

Sock Stats= Knee High, sheer nylon
Sock average=1st time worn, they were destroyed by the end of the night...worn for appx 12 hours.

I think 'sock sizes' are a joke...ladies' socks come in teh standard 'Size 9-11'...I don't know any ladies that have a size 11 shoe. :? I wear a size 5½ shoe, and most socks fit me ok...maybe that's the problem, maybe I should try buying kids' socks to see if they fit better.
