    Anyone have ideas about other musicians playing with Ed on this tour? Youtube informs me Liam Finn played some drums to great effect in the US. Can we expect something similar?

    Well Liam will be on tour in the US for the later part of the tour, but maybe at the first few shows 8-)
    Instead we have Liams side Kick in EJ, and her sidekick in Ceci Herbert. I have it on good authority that the partner of Ceci is one Elroy Finn, who plays drums and guitar, and is also a finn! (i have actually seen Liam, EJ, Ceci and Elroy all on stage together before)

    That'll do it! Elroy played great drums on 7 Worlds MKII. The Finn/Ed roadshow is unstoppable. :D

    Im not sure where the venue is tho.. but last tour I stayed at place called The Oaks was very nice
    and was walking distance to the Oval and very close to the CBD and shops..
    I will find the site name for places which is normally cheaper than just booking..
    From the airport I caught a taxi to be quick but going back the hotel had a shuttle bus
    number that collected me and took me to the airport.. was well priced..

    What's your price range?

    Thebarton Theatre is a 10 minute cab (max) from the city. If you book anywhere in the city you'd be fine.

    if anyone going to the shows wears a size large and would be into trading a t from the eV AUS tour for some older US tour tees, shoot me a pm. i have some pretty rare event specific shirts as well as shirts from the 06 tour where they didnt hit AUS.
    i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status

    If they are Aus sizes it might be different.
    I bought an XL for a US friend in 06 and it was bigger than the US XL he had been
    wearing.. hence he finished up with a night shirt

    No ... I'd forgotten all about that. I guess we just go to the ticketing area and they'll have a 10c section like they do with PJ shows. :?
