I got Sydney 1, Canberra and Newcastle. Missed out on Sydney 2. I'll have to hope for the pre sale or general sale. Can't wait for Canberra and Newcastle. Canberra's capacity is 2500 and Newcastle's is 1500!!

1500? Wow. How long you think it'll take those to sell out in the general sale?

    about 95 seconds

Damn. Have a feeling you're not taking the piss either. I got 2. Vacation plans for 2k11 might be shaping up...

so i got canberra tickets....i know nothing about the place; where is everyone meeting for frothies before the gig??? does canberra actually have any decent pubs?

i dont live in canberra anymore - im about 90 minutes out of it

i used to drink at the tradies - like a rsl club really - which is in dickson, not far from the city

but not much happening on a tuesday night tho, if your into a club scene.

the casino is only a few blocks away from the theatre ....

ill have my son at the show, and ill be driving the next day up to newie - so i wont be drinking anyway - depending on where we go i might tag along for a coke tho, but safe bet is i'll be doing the maccas drivethru and then crashing on a mates lounge
    impatience is a gift ........

I had no problems at all with my brisbane tickets thank goodness. But they did sell out very quickly,,,
  • got syd1 tickets at 9:00:05, adelaide at about 9:02 and melb1 at about 9:15 after doing about 700 refreshes when it was "temp out of stock". mate got syd2 straight off the bat. and we're gonna gun for a 3some for melb2 from ticketmaster.
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

I’m going to the Canberra gig, but getting general public tickets coz there are a few of us.
Tickets still being available through 10c is killing me. So tempted just to ditch people and get 10c tickets rather than wait for tickets next week

when it comes to pearl jam and now ev tours hey if your not in the ten club your on your own. you should get ya tickets you can see them before and after the show . if they have a problem tell them to join the ten club thats what you pay you membership for amongst other reasons

Too late now! I think Canberra is soon to be announced OOS.
  • it will be interesting to see what happens in adelaide as thebby theatre has a general addmision standing area i have never seen it seated. a bit like the forum in melbourne
  • I have a spare on the melb 25th and the syd on the 18th and will trade either for a melb 24th ticket!
I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

i got no tickets to the shows i wanted (adel and melb)

this is an absoulte outrage. why do we pay for ten club membership? one of the main reasons is to get ten club tickets. with these small gigs we DON'T EVEN GET THE CHANCE to buy tickets to the shows we want beause in less than a minute the allocations sold out. if we CAN'T EVEN GET THE CHANCE to buy tickets then whats the point in having this membership? for the newsletter/magazine and christmas vinyl? lol

if the allocations for fan club tickets sell out they should eat in the general public tickets and release more

Thebby do have seating, i've been to a few comedy shows there, probably fit 1200-1500.

I haven't seen anyone else say anything about the price of tickets this time around? Its good to see they are the same price as general public this time instead of +$20 on top.
    Adelaide 7/3/98, Adelaide 16/02/03, Melbourne 18-19/02/03, Brisbane 10-11/11/06, Adelaide 21-22/11/06, Adelaide 17/11/06, Sydney 22/11/06, Brisbane 25/11/06, EV- Adelaide 27-28/03/11...

Got Bris show 1 and will go general sale for show 2- they did go very quickly.

What chances do you give to Eddie doing a MAX session for Foxtel?? Now that would be a great show- Ben Harper's was awesome

I can't argue much with that. Yes I'm happy we get at least some chance to get early tickets, but surely PJ/EV management has more power over the venues that they can ask for more 10c seat allocations. It will be nigh on impossible to get anything at the public presale and sale days. It's near impossible for arena shows, let alone tiny gigs like this. So that could leave many 10c members out cold, scoping ebay for overpriced tickets or turning up on the night without a ticket. Doesn't seem right.

I know how you got lucky...
You bought Melbourne first, then Sydney, then Adelaide, then Newcastle, then Canberra...

oh and the fact that tickets were up Slightly BEFORE 9am may have helped....

ticket buying for multiple shows requires some nous as well as luck. and the tickets went on sale at 9:00:00 -ticket sales are always set up in accordance with world clock i.e perfect time. that goes for regular agencies as well. where i got lucky was that i managed to get melb1 after it was temporarily out of stock for 15min.
