MAD March just got a whole lot madder.
It may be the month of the Clipsal 500 and the Fringe but guitar legend Carlos Santana, left, the Kings of Leon, and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, right, will also add some rock `n' roll to the party month.
Carlos and his band Santana, who have sold more than 90 million records in a career spanning 40 years, will play Adelaide Entertainment Centre on March 17 as part of their Guitar Heaven Tour of Australia and New Zealand.
On the back of chart-topping fifth studio album Come Around Sundown and last year's sold-out Australian tour, the Kings of Leon will return for a massive all-ages show at Adelaide Oval on March 13.
Eddie is leaving Pearl Jam at home and will play the Thebarton Theatre on March 27 in solo mode - as Australian audiences have never seen him before. On his last visit to Australia last November, Eddie and Pearl Jam played to about 160,000 people.
Chugg Entertainment chief executive officer Matthew Lazarus-Hall says in the past they have ``unfortunately had to bypass Adelaide on occasion''. ``The current boom in touring in Australia has, however, rejuvenated the South Australian market and it is tremendously exciting to be bringing both Santana and Eddie Vedder to Adelaide.''
He also hints at another big announcement soon.
Tickets for Santana are on sale December 9 (Ticketek), Kings of Leon on December 6 (Ticketek) and for Eddie on December 10 (VenueTix).

NZ 1 is a good flight. Last April when we went home it had maybe 50 people on board. Got to sleep in a row of empty seats for the LAX - AUK leg. Very nice.

It is also likely that he may test out some new PJ tracks like he did in the US!
