    I'm so jealous now.
But for a couple of them, most resorts are not open yet. So I'll have to wait a couple more weeks. Am basically packing in anticipation

Have the same feeling that it's gonna be a snowy year. We keep getting heavy rain around here (not a rain region at all usually ) and it got "cold" all of sudden, which means there must be loads of snow up in the mountains right now.
Have always dreamt of snowboarding in Canada ...

EDIT : weather forecast on right now. Snow all over the place. Don't know how I'll wait a couple more weeks now.

Come to Canada! B.C. especially, or at least out West :)
Back east, from what I've heard is icey.. and plus their "mountains" are like hills hahah
There are tons of mountains in the PNW between the rockies, the coast, and the cascades (US)

Was up on Mount Washington (Vancouver Island) on Christmas Eve day... it was nuts...but it only got crazier over the weekend...

And the mountain was filled to capacity for skiiers by the afternoon yesterday, and by 9:30 am this morning!
Apparently they have the largest snowbase in the world right now for ski resorts
