Just got back home after a couple of days away - listening to the LOXL vinyl again after a couple of days CD / MP3 player. For me it's like listening to two completely different albums! Both good, but in very different ways. The vinyl sounds 'grittier' and more like an actual show - whereas the CD sounds pristine and polished. Some of it may be down to differences in setup - but I listen to a lot of albums on both formats, and many of them it's only a difference in 'tone'. Intrigued. Am enjoying both immensely!

    Please help!

If we order the Deluxe Edition from Europe to get the extras, I know that European CD's/DVD's are a different format from the United States... does anyone know if the CD/DVD with the European Deluxe version will play on US CD/DVD players?

As far as I know it is only DVDs that are incompatible between regions, whereas CDs are universal.

Great to know Australia wasn't left off the list of songs on the new live album. I've only just listened to it an hour ago. NAIS is the standout track for me, Mike just said on the radio that he loves playing it.

I'm pretty sure they record their concerts digitally. I really think Eddie should give Jack White a call and ask if Pearl Jam could come to Nashville and do a Third Man Live concert there. If they do some concerts nearby I really think they should do it. The concerts are all recorded to analog tape (probably the only concert venue in the world that does that) and almost all concerts are released on vinyl only. That would be a good idea. I hope Jack White's efforts spread a bit further.
