That crap with Lori in the kitchen with Andrea was some of the most sexist sh#!.

it wasn't sexist. it was her role as a wife and mother living in the south, married to a cop. that's just reality in some parts. but more importantly it was her personal reality and she probably felt threatened by Andrea's strong presence.

not in my house though! supper is on the table when my little woman comes home from work!

  • I wonder if Andrea is currently walking around with a little Shane in the oven.

  • It will probably still be entertaining, but turn into another Lost where the sci-fi aspect starts to get out of hand.

if there's any black smoke monster or polar bears wandering around in Atlanta because it's in Carl's comic book I'm heading for the door.

Geography has nothing to do with it. I live in the South, it's not all "get in the kitchen woman" around here. I'm sure some women take on that role voluntarily, and decide it's their duty to do some of that stuff if they are being a stay at home mom and the husband has a job, but it's not part of the culture anymore than it would be in the rest of the country or continent.

Agreed about the geography thing, I am a wife and mother in the South. I do the laundry and cook, but I also attend grad school and work. The day my husband tells me that is my role is the day he gets the frying pan in the head, lol. When chores need to be done we all pitch in and I think that if I was needed to shoot down zombies, I wouldn't be making lemonade.

Edit: I do agree though that Lori is threatened by Andrea. Also, like I said before, I think a bit jealous of her and Shane.

pretty soon it's Game of Thrones time..
i totally agree with what's been said so far - Michonne did look too cartoonish and Lori is a bit annoying at times.. i hope they do a better job with the writing on season 3.. make it more believeable (as much as a zombie show can be)..
it felt like they were trying to fit too much into these last few episodes.. Dale, Shane and everything that happened in this one..
I enjoyed the episode where we found out Sophia was in the barn more..

It seemed to me Lori wasn't as mad about Shane being killed by Rick, but pissed about Carl being the one to "put him down".
I agree tho, her character stinks.

    Ahhh, until the Fall.

Glad to see Rick grow a set. Welcome to the party Michonne. I thought it was an epic show tonight. I try not to let little things bother me about the "realism" of the show and simply enjoy it for what it's worth... entertainment. If I did, I could not possibly enjoy The Walking Dead. Let's face it, without TWD, we'd be stuck watching some reality show like Dancing with the Stars or crap like that.

Thought it was a solid ending to the season. I hope Lori's baby eats her from the inside out, then eats Carl. I can't wait to see the prison story line and the Governor. And Michonne.

I wondered that too. But if she was mad about Carl shooting Shane, it was really her fault for letting the boy out of her sight. They were all holed up in the house because they were scared of Randall and the gang coming to get them, but yet Carl slipped out of the house and wandered around in the dark.

Great ending to the season. Great to see Michonne, similar entrance to her in the comics (I think she showed up at the farm in the comics). She ends up being such a good (human) character, don't worry about her looking cartoonish.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.
