    It was nice watching Sachin play live... I think this is the 1st time I have got to see him bat live in 3 times seeing India play.. he was the only Indian who looked in control...

    A great day of play...13 wickets 300+ runs... ricky on 40 odd not out... Wish I was going out again tomorrow...

    yeh think so, I didnt go out last time they were here... And the previous times I saw them was the last day of tugga's career and day 2 in 2000 for a Justin Langer century...

    Not my questions of him.
    Loved seeing Punter get there though... covered in dirt. Let's just hope he goes on to make a big one, he deserves it. Wish I lived in Sydney so I would have been there to see it

    oh look i'm too hard on him, problem I have that once I make up my mind negatively about a player i can only think of one who ever changed my mind (Haddin - but he won me over before Gillys retirement) honestly when Ponting went out I turned the TV off for a while

    Ricky certainly is a fighter... and I was so happy for him..

    Clarkey silenced the knockers for now. It was good seeing him come in at 3 for 30 odd and do that...

    also the fields he set to most the indians (not so much Tendulkar and Dhoni) were good yesterday...

    Good to see Aussie cricket on the rise again...

    It was nice seeing him bring up the 150 with his baggy green on.

    THat combined with no bat sponsor kind of took me back 60 or 70 years where there were no bat sponsors, everyone wore the baggy green...

    And you won't find me bagging Ricky...

    One thing I've learnt is you can't keep champions down for long...

    it's hard to bag the second best batsman this country has ever produced in 120 years.

    my only criticism of the 3 current wise men in the middle order is that they they should be batting 1 spot up respectively. usman and now marsh have been sacrificed at 3... the hardest place in the XI to bat. big ask for blokes having played 3 tests to slip into first drop whilst guys that have played 70-150 tests, averaging 52, 50 and 49 or whatever, bat below. the new man on campus should bat at 6 and work his way up with experience.

    clarke to me came across as a little knob when he was younger, but the guy is 30 or so now and a bloody good captain with a test average of about 49. he's changed a lot in 8 yrs.. apart from those try hard arabic tats. they look shit.
    Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

    Clarke's stocks have risen in my book.....
    Finally he steps up in a tough situation.
    That cut shot he played for a boundary was just magnificent, hit so clean.
    And I am so happy for Ricky, champion player, a big f*** you to the critics.
    Reminds me of that Steve Waugh tonne at the same ground in 2003.
    And Hussey, well done.
