    Watched "The Apartment" this morning with my dad. This part had us in tears.

    JERRY: You have no idea what an idiot is. Elaine just gave me a chance to get out and I didn't take it. (Points to himself) This is an idiot.

    GEORGE: Is that right? (Showing him up) I just threw away a lifetime of guilt-free sex and floor seats for every sporting event in Madison Square Garden. So please, a little respect. For I am Costanza. Lord of the Idiots!

    That's right.

    I remember there was a scene (maybe in "The Virgin") in the comedy club where George was talking to two women about that and he says something like that and they leave the table.

    it is a god damned travesty that this show is not on at 11 or 11:30 in the philadelphia area anymore.
