That's the most sense I've seen on here EVER, lolLedbetterman10 wrote:If he plays solo when PJ is on hiatus (like he is now), that's cool. If PJ ever breaks up and then he goes solo, that's cool. but if PJ ever breaks up because he wants to go solo, that would suck. If he ever came in one day (and who knows, it may happen) and said "guys, I think we reached our end as 'Pearl Jam'" That would be a bummer. Stone would feel like a scorn lover....and he'd probably try to kill Sean Penn."So forget the other boys because my love is real.

I don't like when fans think of this band as Eddie Vedder and the Pearl Jams. I'm sorry that I view every member as an equal in the group. Of course Ed gets all the attention because he's the frontman and writes most of the lyrics. But their writing process has always been collaborative. This isn't a situation like Trent Reznor with Nine Inch Nails or Kurt Cobain with Nirvana where they are the only creative force in the group. Every member gets their say on the albums and I appreciate that. I apologize for feeling that way. Can't escape from the common rule...
If you hate something, don't you do it too0 -

Yes, but just because it hasn't worked out for Cornell doesn't mean it won't work out for Eddie.0 -
For sure Eddie would have a fantastic solo career. I want to see him as Pearl Jam's front man forever ofcourse but he could still continue a solo career in between albums and be very successful.0
