Im interested to see whats going to happen myself...apparently Ct is too small to get any love on that map there...zoomed in and closest i could get was Bridgeport - 158 miles away...looks like where I am, closer to RI will be closer to the storm
but we never end up with anything good here in CT...maybe some flooding, but thats it....im just hoping the winds arent too bad...the windows in my apartment are circa old as fuck and a few panes already broken...

why didnt they just move the lifeguard stand up the beach??
not a big beach sand wise...and those are in their normal spots ..not much room behind them
besides, nobody was in the water,it was a hurricane all day only surfers and they're on their own

i love big seas. makes me remember just how powerless man is.. plus its a great photo op.
not that these are particularly big nor were they taken under hurricane conditions but it was rather windy. lots of foam. no surfers. even the ocean pool was closed.

I leave the DC Metro area and move to Florida expecting these hurricanes and now my namesake is heading towards DC. What gives? Aside from that some beautiful last 5 days here windy, surf's up and somewhat kool in the afternoon here in the Palm Beaches.
