  • Great show - very focused on the WM3. Ed was obviously the organizer & it's the first time I've ever seen him perform without drinking. He had water on stage with him!

Ed didn't perform songs that allowed his voice to fill the room - they were more meaningful. Again focused on the cause. Thought Natalie & Patty Smith did a phenomenal job of choosing music. Showed real power in their voice.

Great night, great show, heart wrenching cause.

Great show. Still can't believe we got a great show for such a great price. Row R. We could see very well and everyone was respectful and didn't talk during the show, so we were able to get a few videos.

Funny to hear someone in the back yell out, "Eddie, fix my problems!"

Loved Fistful of Mercy. Great performance.

    Thank you, Eddie!
  • This is my 11th PJ related show. My friend's 1st. He was amazed at the power of Eddies voice and now see's why I love this band so much.

I met Ben earlier in the day and that was amazing.
Straight down the center for a hot chicken dinner!

that sounds like a great night of music

  • I can not say enough how grateful I am that I attended this rally. Eddie really impressed me, at times he seemed to keep the rally moving. I felt very empowered when I left and if anyone knows if getting petitions signed in states other than Arkansas would help, I would love to do so. You know is 1,000 or how ever many thousand signatures enough. I mean how many peoples signatures does it take to save a persons life? I will from this day on be looking into ways I can help change this travesty, it so sad it's taken me 17 years to get there but I had a 6 1/2 hour drive home and it's all I thought about. We as a human race get so wrapped up in what makes us comfortable that we forget that this world is widely uncomfortable for others that also live in it. Sorry to get on a soap box but I had to share what last night did for me.

Thanks Ed for supporting this cause and using your status as a musician to influence others to fight for what they believe in!!!!

P.S.---Much love for Henry Rollins...that man could lead an army. ;)

  • Eddie always great. Ben's new group rocked the house. Johnny :D What can I say? He LOOKED GOOD and can play a mean guitar :D Patty and the group closed the house down. Natalie greeted fans after the show signing shirts, pieces of paper, anything we gave her. And Eddie. Beautiful Eddie. Greeted us all with open arms and hugs. Love you Eddie.

Was an awesome show. Worth every minute of the drive up there and back. Patti was amazing and may have stolen the show. Humility was everywhere.

This was an amazing night. From the very beginning at the preparty, there was a very supportive energy for this cause. At the actual event, the room was kind, energetic and supportive. Ed and all of the artists gave a lot of thought to their song selections and it made the night more special. My favorite part was when Ed read a part of a letter/journal entry by Damion about time. If anyone happened to catch that on video, please post.
so now is a very important time to make noise and spread the word about the West Memphis 3. Make you voice heard and help give these young men be able to prove that there were wrongly committed. Shout it on facebook, write letters and make calls. They deserve this chance.
thanks again to Ed and all of the amazing artists who gave their talent and energy to make this happen.

    Yep...

This fine young man deserves a 2nd chance...

Echols admitted on cross-examination in the penalty phase of the trial that he had an altercation with his father in which a knife was involved and the police were called; where he admitted that he was hospitalized that same day and that when his father came to the hospital, “I told him I would eat him alive”; where headmitted that he tried “to claw the eyes out” of a student; and where a psychologist who testified for Echols admitted that Echols had “an all-powerful God-like image of himself,” that his parents were concerned with his satanism or devil worship, and that Echols’s medical records included notations of statements by Echols pertaining, among other things, to his rage and the drinking of the blood of others….
    Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

Does that automatically mean he committed the other crimes? You've never been in a fight? You've never said anything that would be embarrassing if the public found out?

    Thanks.
I saw the video of Ed reading journal entry last night, thought: that's it, perfection, and went to sleep. Didn't post it because it is a little shaky. Here:

  • Great show last night. Setlist was awesome with songs that i have never got to hear live. Met some good people and Ed was generous enough after the show to come out and shake hands and say hi to everyone. Overall great time.

Ben's new band was the shit! wow!!! they were amazing!
I can't believe I'm saying this but - They were best act on stage last night

Ed was great!! could of played a couple more songs but what we got kicked ass! Rise was my fav.
And he's FUNNY too - he told a story about how his voice sounds like bruce springsteen's when he calls his dog and that his neighbor probably think it's bruce's dog that shits in their yard. then he made a crack about johnny being a pirate.... funny stuff

Natalie's voice was so powerful, Free Life was amazing!!
again, I would of liked to here more

Johnny Depp did a damn good job on guitar, I must say I was impressed

I wasn't feelin' patti smith at all, sorry

the room had a Very strange vibe to it, I can't descibe it but was sort of ...... i don't know, just odd

overall it was a good night, glad I decided to go! :D:D:D
