I wonder if Jim Tressel is under consideration for the Colts? He was on the staff as a replay consultant this last year.

Rob Lowe, yes, that Rob Lowe, is reporting that Manning is retiring. haha. That would be pretty hilarious if he broke the story.

Regardless of who broke it ... this would be sad if true ... and I'm a Pats fan.

Granted, I think I'd rather he retire than go to the Jets, like some silly rumors have been intimating.

Same here... I'm still holding out hope that he can play another couple years and I do have some doubts abou the legitimacy of his info.

Sounds ridiculous that Rob Lowe's breaking but he's buds with Irsay and attends alot of Colts functions so he probably knows several others in the know.

On the bright side, if this happens we'll probably find out about the new coach pretty soon.

I'm saying Manning will coach if he retires.

So far, his agent has denied it and Archie laughed it off.

Flacco has no shot of keeping up with Brady

Payback comes in 2 weeks when we shove it in Eli's goofy face. Can't wait.

Luck. RGIII is very good, but I prefer pocket passers. Just like RB's, athletic QB's have a shorter shelf-life due to the extra hits and risks they take.

On Pardon The Interruption they were saying it's not as crazy as it sounds. Rob Lowe is friends with the Colts owner, and he an Manning have the same agent or something, I was only partially listening to what they said about that.

If it were true though, what would possess Rob Lowe to Tweet it? Wouldn't that be something you should let the person retiring break? Only somebody very desperate for attention would Tweet something like that, true or not.

Does Parks and Recreation film in Indiana? If so, I'm going to focus on warming up my right foot up so I can give Rob Lowe the nut-kicking of his lifetime.

tom brady didn't practice today - maybe he shouldn't have still be in up 42-10 and 45-10 in the 4th quarter??? hmmm interesting isn't it? (and before you say his shoulder has been bad for a few weeks he did practice last wednesday).

what's your beef with brady handing the ball off 9 times in the 4th quarter? at first it seemed like you thought the pats were trying to run up the score...now you're concerned about his health?

what point are you trying to make?

    I hope it's a great defensive battle.

I wonder if there will be 5 field goals again?

Dude ... this is for the non throwing shoulder he hurt against the Dolphins in week 16 ... since then he has missed a practice or two and put up 49 against Buffalo and 45 against Denver.

He practiced last Wednesday because they had a bye week and last week's game was on SATURDAY.

But feel free keep reaching for what ever the hell it is you're reaching for.

both. i don't understand it from the Pats point-of-view other than their coach is an asshole. why leave arguably the best qb in the history of the game in a 42-10 and 45-10 game in the 4th quarter. what is the point? haven't heard one good explanation yet other than the coach is an asshole. as for the Denver side i'd would have been pissed at the appearance of the pats running it up. and brady did throw a 30+ yard pass up 42-10. as an athlete that and the quick kick would have pissed me off...i would have taken a shot him at that point.

and juggler if andy reid ever had a 42-10 lead in a playoff game and left his starters in you and the other haters head would explode. be honest about that.
