congrats to the giants. an old school nfc championship game is on tap for sunday.

and the Giant's defense is still worse than the Eagles? too funny

and Bellichick and Brady are still scumbags. Up 42-10 or whatever and Brady is still in with like 3 minutes to go. I'd taken is fn knees out on the quick kick if I was the Broncos.

oh good you're here. ask a giants fan what they thought of their defense in the regular season.

they're playing real well now. but they were injured and overall played poorly over the course of the whole season.

it may not have been great but it was never softer than our tissue-soft d and defensive backs...which is what i said back then. if our defense was better than the Giants' I guess we shouldn't fire our Defensive coach and bring in the savior Spags. i guess our D is NFC Championship worthy

dude. you said their defense was "way better" than the eagles defense in late november. that was just not the case at all. both defenses were not good this year.

and, again, there were all kinds of rumors of the giants firing their defensive coordinator and/or the coach just a couple weeks ago too.

right now the giants running game is solid, they are healthy on defense and playing real well there, and eli is having a stellar post season. they are the hot time right now. no doubt about it. that is why the juggler's money was on them yesterday. ;)

In case you missed it, the Pats could have put 70 up on the Broncos, but didn't.

You saw Brady punt/quick kick on 3rd down right? And one of the Broncos come over and give him a tap on the chest as if to say "thanks man, we cannot stop you"? But you probably thought that was rubbing it in.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

But feel free to keep the rage inside you burning ... it's cute.

And Brady also could have tried for a 7th touchdown pass (which would have broke Lamonica and Young's playoff record of 6) but instead they ran the ball three times in a row from inside the 5. Sean Payton and Drew Brees would have been foaming at the mouth over the chance at a record like that.

Their play calling had SIGNIFICANTLY changed.

The Pats had 42 points with 12 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and only scored a FG the rest of the way, they could have put at least 21 more on the board ... but didn't.

Go talk to all the people that say Aaron Rodgers was rusty after sitting out an extra week.

Brady wanted to take the snaps, he never comes out of games ... but they weren't bombing down the field. They weren't running up the score. They fucking punted on third down.

You just want to hate and ignore what was really happening ... so, have at it.

I've got alotta respect for Brady, esp since Rodgers' rise to stardom. I dunno how anybody could dispute the scummbagginess of Belicheck though. A few instances of class don't make up for the years he behaved like a total schmuck.

i don't hate brady i just don't understand why he was in the game with less than 5 minutes up 45-10.

They always have him in the game late when they are up big. I hope the Pats get spanked by the Ravens on Sunday. How could you go through the season and gain home field for the playoffs without beating a team over .500??

the pats ran it 9 times and only passed it twice in the 4th quarter. they also had brady punt on their last offensive posession...on 3rd down.

they clearly stepped off the gas in the 2nd half.

exactly like it juggler - i ask a simple question and they can't or won't answer it (kind of like you guys in the eagles thread do...or don't do) -why was tom brady still in the game up 45-10 with under 5 minutes to play. there is no reason for it other than tom doesn't want to come out?

and Juggler i don't understand how any Eagles fan doesn't hate the man who was convicted of cheating against the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

Too bad he was never given total control of the team. Oh well, this was expected.

Considering their GM is only 39, I expect a less established coach. If you are trying to establish a foundation, I think it would be a bad decision to hire a Bill Cowher type coach he may try to impose his ways on the organization. There must be some talented assistant coaches who deserve a shot.

Actually, as long as John Gruden isn't hired, I'll be content.

Too bad he never took control of the team, maybe. The guy just doesn't seem like head coach material to me. He should've been able to hype the team up enough to get at least a few more wins.

i still don't understand if he was concerned about brady getting injured or if he thought the pats were trying to run up the score in the 4th quarter....by running 9 times while passing only twice...and punting...on 3rd down. :?

the smart money is on him watching about 5 minutes of the game.
