I want to know how the fuck that was ruled down on the field when the whistles are not blown? GB should have had to challenge that!0 -

I think bad calls are part of sports.
what's the point of having replay in place if they can't get these obvious calls correct? oh, that's right...so they can force feed us more commercials.0 -
Cocksuckers, this is a 10-3 game0

They are, but there's no excuse when we're talking about video replay. Even Packer's fans know they got away with that one.Another habit says it's in love with you

I looked like it was probably a fumble, but it wasn't THAT clear of a fumble. One angle they showed made it kind of look like he had control. The angle they kept showing was bad, and you couldn't tell when when he lost control because the entire area of the hands and ball was a blur. He had his hands on the ball, away from his body, but the question was where he lost control. They probably couldn't say for sure, that's why they kept it the way it was. And it should be noted that the refs might not be looking at the same camera angle that we were seeing.
Besides, the Giants have gotten away with a few already, maybe not as pivotal, but still."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -
Not at all saying the NFL is fixed, but they clearly want Packers vs Patriots in the big game. The NFL has turned into a soft, pass first, can't touch a WR league. I'm really hoping at least one legit defensive teams gets in. These QB's are becoming WAY overrated because of the current rules. Montana, Marino, Fouts, etc would have put up 50 plus TD's a season if the rules favored the offense as they do now. They've basically dumbed down the game for the casual, Madden playing fan.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0

I don't think so. I would imagine they wanted the Broncos in the big game. That was the biggest story (undeservedly) all season, and it had people who know nothing and normally care nothing about football "Tebowing" and gushing over him. I would bet you anything they were hoping for Denver in the Super Bowl, but they didn't try to fix that, so I don't think they're fixing this.
Besides, in a game between a small market and big market team it would make sense for the NFL to want the big market to win. I can't think of a reason why the NFL would want Green Bay in the Super Bowl over New York."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -

It was a clear fumble. It was out the guys hands before his knee or elbow hit. The refs have as many angles as they need to get the call right. And where the fishier part comes in is the ruling on the field. Why weren't there a ton of whistles when the Giants' player recovered the fumble and was returning it.0 -

I think it probably was a fumble, but I don't think it was clear. The above camera angle showed he still had a hand on the ball (did he have control? probably not) all the way down. I imagine that angle is probably what they saw. Who knows. A little while ago a Giants player clearly delivered a forearm shiver to a GB receivers head and no flag was thrown. Market size matters little in the NFL. Most Americans are watching the game regardless. They can sell Brady vs Rodgers as "Battle of the two greatest QB's ever" based on today's inflated stats. It's all about scoring, scoring, scoring. The average NFL fan has the attention span of a 3rd grader.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0 -

I'll hate them next week if they're in SF but I really like this Giants team. Eli is every bit as dangerous as Brady, Brees or Rodgers and that defensive front is among the best. Coughlin is one of the best coaches in the NFL as well. Hope that can hang on in the 2nd half, would love to see them face off against my Niners next week.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0

Don't be this guy
you're better than that. You have the lead, what more do you want? No matter what Rodgers does at this point you should win because of that sieve of a GB defense. You should score on every single drive."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0
