tom brady didn't practice today - maybe he shouldn't have still be in up 42-10 and 45-10 in the 4th quarter??? hmmm interesting isn't it? (and before you say his shoulder has been bad for a few weeks he did practice last wednesday).

what's your beef with brady handing the ball off 9 times in the 4th quarter? at first it seemed like you thought the pats were trying to run up the score...now you're concerned about his health?

what point are you trying to make?

    I hope it's a great defensive battle.

I wonder if there will be 5 field goals again?

Dude ... this is for the non throwing shoulder he hurt against the Dolphins in week 16 ... since then he has missed a practice or two and put up 49 against Buffalo and 45 against Denver.

He practiced last Wednesday because they had a bye week and last week's game was on SATURDAY.

But feel free keep reaching for what ever the hell it is you're reaching for.

both. i don't understand it from the Pats point-of-view other than their coach is an asshole. why leave arguably the best qb in the history of the game in a 42-10 and 45-10 game in the 4th quarter. what is the point? haven't heard one good explanation yet other than the coach is an asshole. as for the Denver side i'd would have been pissed at the appearance of the pats running it up. and brady did throw a 30+ yard pass up 42-10. as an athlete that and the quick kick would have pissed me off...i would have taken a shot him at that point.

and juggler if andy reid ever had a 42-10 lead in a playoff game and left his starters in you and the other haters head would explode. be honest about that.

You know what the best way to run the clock out is? The best way to avoid injuries on both sides of the ball, offense and (an already depleated) defense? Convert first downs and run the clock out ... which ultimately equates to less snaps of the ball.

Pehaps the thought is if you go three and out, you'll put the defense on the field for far more exertive snaps than necessary, with Tebow and crew still running plays downfield into an injury riddled secondary, risking injuries to guys like Chung and Ihedigbo who have missed time, and the Pats shitty defense really needs these guys. Sure you can take them out of the game, but they aren't the only guys at risk. More plays equates to more chances for injuries.

Perhaps Brady wanted more snaps under center ... I have no idea who was at center in the 4th quarter, but the Pats have had 4 different centers this year, and maybe the wanted more real game snaps with one another.

As Jeagler and I already pointed out, the Pats couls have put 70 up on the Broncos. They only scored three points in the last 27 minutes, and as also stated, their last 11 plays were 9 runs and two passes ... not to mention a *third* down punt and a field goal from the 2 yard line. So get the "running up the score" idea out of your head ... that one is completely ridiculous.

Now, do you really want to keep clutching at straws? It's Thursday, hell even the friggin' Tebow shit has died down ... but you keep hammering at a point no one, not even Denver nor their fans, are talking about.

i can't believe something as elementary like this is still being argued, poorly.

the pats killed the eagles 2 months ago and brady was in until the very end of that game too. pjhawks never mentioned one word about it then.

and of course it would not bother me if the eagles left vick in a game with that same situation so long as they were just running out the clock.

Tough to call the Giants winning an upset ... I know what Vegas says ... but, they just walked into Green Bay and made them look silly.

But I'm hoping you're as right on the Pats as you were last week ... still nervous as fuck about this game for them.

I understand that ... but that shouldn't preclude you from making a sound arguement.

As for the blind hate for Belichick ... I suggest this as reading material.

Ed Reed tattled on Joe Flacco to the GM for riding a skateboard.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/someone-tattled-ravens-joe-flacco-riding-skateboard-155450965.html

Ed called Joe out in the media a few days ago. I don't think Ed likes Joe.
