Gillian is dead. She was planning on killing Gyp with the syringe so why wouldn't it kill her? It goes by too quick. So will Lucky start working with Nucky after being betrayed by AR?
Gillian is NOT dead. Found this:

    From Terence Winter Q & A:
For the record, Gillian did not die from that injection, correct?
    That’s correct. She’s not dead.

    Come on now. :fp:
    Alright, alright, alright!

just awesome how they brought the storylines together...i watched the finale 3 times sunday night

was kinda hoping harrow was gonna take out both gyp & gillian with a single bullet thru both of their hearts when she was whispering in gyp's ear....

altho it was still great to see rosetti get finished off.

wonder if gillian will fully recover from the heroin od or if it leaves her permanently damaged?

We all kind of knew Harrow was going to do what he did. I'm just glad he survived it, along with Jimmy's boy. Can't believe Gillian apparently survived it all. I think maybe the writers were trying to drudge up some sympathy with Nucky and the viewing public where, in her heroin stupor, acts out that scene from her youth where Nucky sent her in to "serve" the Commodore. Gyp definitely got what was coming to him. Great season finale to my favorite show. Now the waiting for next season begins. :(
Nice pickup on Gillian being brought back to her young encounter with the Commodore.

I other mild misfire... Van Alden storyline was left in the dust until next season. I thought for sure that he would have accompanied Capone down to A.C.

Van Alden knows his goose is cooked if he dared to show up back in AC

    fantastic
The DVR will be getting a nice run
    watching this one over again.

better be careful there. i suffered through the eagles/cowboys game on sunday and dvr'd boardwalk. since the episode was over an hour and the show didn't start until about 9:05 because of the hbo promo's i missed the last 10 minutes because the dvr shut off. :x it shutoff literally a second before gyp was killed! i was so pissed--especially when i realized it's not on demand yet for some unknown reason. i can't begin to describe how frustrating these last 2 days have been (trying to avoid everyone talking about it). finally was able to see it tonight.....WOW!

    RICHARD FUCKING HARROW. :clap::clap::clap::clap:

about as perfect an episode as you will ever see.

with homeland becoming more and more out of control, i hereby declare boardwalk the best show on television...again.

Anyone else think its strange that Margaret is nowhere to be found in either of the 2 main trailers they've been running?

i looked up that review on grantland. jeezuz...what a jerk, that critic bashed the first three seasons too. can't take his obviously slanted piece seriously... it's so awfully verbose it makes him come off as totally full of shit. :fp:

i'd stick to watching an episode before forming an opinon

i saw online somewhere Kelly Macdonald that plays Margaret was at the season 4 premiere on tuesday...and since she's featured in this season's posters i'd guess Margaret will show up in episodes at some point 8-)

i forget the reviewer's name at this point, but i usually enjoy reading his work. and yeah--he's been pretty harsh on this show. i do agree that it hasn't been the same since they killed jimmy off and last year felt a bit uneven. if they hadn't ended on such a positive note, i might agree with his take a little more. i felt those last 3-4 episodes last year were fucking awesome.

football and quality television. it doesn't get much better than sunday's in the fall. :)

    Bring it on.

Expect more Chalky this year with his brand new Jazz Club.

yep, there's alot of directions the storylines can take with chalky and his new jazz club ... just glad that shyster talent agent freak got taken out and his other freaky evil half went out the window :shifty:

didn't expect to see Nucky, Rothstein, Lansky, Luciano and Masseria all get together to kiss and makeup

appears like Nucky's looking to expand his business dealings to florida....perhaps rum running from cuba?

Harrow's left AC and went back home.....and he's got some scores to settle

the show's going to new locations...maybe it's to introduce characters with some redeeming qualities?
