have to give Franklin a lot of credit. I thought they were done after the thrashing at Michigan and have had a lot of injuries but keep winning. Saved his job and now they actually have a shot of slipping into the playoff. Barkley is a stud.

A buddy of mine and I were talking about this a few weeks ago when we went to the VT/Pitt game. This is gonna be the year where they *should* really consider expanding to 8 teams for the future. Too many strong 1-loss teams that it's going to spark debate.

And I'd love to see any of the B1G teams wallop 'Bama! Don't know if it'll happen, but I'd love to see it. Eff the SEC!

At first, I thought it should be an 8 team playoff. But the more I think about it, the more I like the 4 team system. No matter how many teams you have, there will ALWAYS be a team or two the gets screwed or that thinks the system is rigged. If any changes are made, I hope they go to a 6 team system. 8 is too many.

6 only works with a bye. 8 would be great this year - bama, osu, michigan, penn st, clemson, winner or pac 12, wisconsin, louisville....hell, maybe even sneak usc in.

Sam Darnold may develop into an outstanding QB. Could be exciting if he gets significantly better, as he is pretty good right now. The type of guy that makes sloppy plays work consistently....just something there.

Was in the car listening to the ESPN talking heads a bit ago....and one of them said USC should be in the top 4/ Assholes, we lost 3 games. Best case is we back into the Rose Bowl and embarrass a Big27 team.
It needs to be said again -- nobody even comes close to Bama.

Oh yeah -- the NCAA tells ND to void 2 years worth of victories? I hate Notre Dame more than most....but I hate the NCAA and their arbitrary righteousness more than anything else in college football. Fuck off!
