true. and it's still a million times better than the NFL

ha. you think the bowl system is better than the nfl playofs? wow.

a sport that determines it's national champion through the use of a complicated computer system is no better than the wiffle ball league i used to run in my parents back yard when i was 9. horrendous.

all of that is horrible. the college football product is still better than the crap the NFL puts out on a weekly basis

the nfl is compelling and rich. it also gets better as the season gets rolling. it's all about the end result anyway. and every college football season ends with a partial birth abortion. you can't overlook that.

Trust me I am as big a OSU hater as you will find, but I was pulling for you today for obvious reasons. If MSU, UW and OSU all win next week, it appears that UW will get to the Rose Bowl (hopefully) due to the tiebreaker being hightest BCS ranking, and OSU should deserve an at large bid to a BCS game. If it's a 3 way tie MSU should be left out of the BCS.

If any team deserves it, it's Wisconsin. They are about as solid as you can get this year. It's unfortunate they lost to MSU or they would be going for a NC. Their offensive line and running back corp are beasts.

Should we really be shocked that someone associated with THE Arrogant State University would say this. What an arrogant prick. Unfortunately he's making the whole Big 10 look bad. If it really comes down to teams that aren't in the big 6 conferences not deserving to play for the title, then why put them in the rankings or have them in the running at all? Let them play in the Division 1 FCS and play in the playoffs then. If that's the case that also means teams like OSU not scheduling Ohio or Eastern Michigan on their non-conference schedule. If these teams truly aren't "worthy" of a championship then the games against them shouldn't count or be worthy of mattering twoards yout bowl elegibility or BCS ranking. If this is what he thinks then just have big 6 conference teams play other big 6 conference teams in non-conference. What an arrogant ass hole. Couldn't be happier that my Badgers are soley responsible for making sure the Arrgoance that is OSU is not playing in the championship game. They don't deserve it based on their football team or the class of their university president. I'm sure Boise or TCU could make the championship game more competitvie than OSU did the last 2 times they were in it!!

instead of university presidents bitching and moaning like babies, here's a thought: institute a playoff system like every other league, in the every other sport, in the entire universe.

need nick saban's boys to take care of business tomorrow. then boise needs to hammer nevada tomorrow night in what should be a good game.

GREAT slate of college games over the next couple of days. I'm with you, I am pulling for boise as well

Also, Bo Pelini is now my favorite college coach. I watched a lot of that game on saturday night...his team got railroaded over and over and over again. Apparently there is a Big 12 conspiracy against them because they're leaving for the Big 10 next year...the penalties were 16-2 against his team. some horrendous calls too
