My co-worker who is also a lead lighting technician at the Borgata said that they have a tentative booking for Ed solo in August. If he plays the main theatre the capacity is around 3000 seated. If he plays the "Music Box" the capacity is only 900. This is just penciled in for now but it looks like Ed is going to extend his solo tour after PJ finishes their east coats run.

Now if he could just extend it a little bit further to, say, Europe.......he'd make so many people happy :) c'mon Ed you know you want to.....

Why don't we wait and see if an East Coast tour is announced first.

Because speculation is half the fun.

    SHOW COUNT: (159) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=103, US=118, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=2, Australia=2
    Mexico=1, Colombia=1

    Upcoming:   Aucklandx2, Gold Coast, Melbournex2

  • If this is for real, it is perfect timing for my boyfriends birthday. I just need to, somehow keep him form finding out about the show.

Either way, I hope there are a few shows in the North East, like 2 in AC, 2 Philly and 2 in NYC... if not getting 10 club tickets will be next to impossible!

    But here is to speculation!
    2005: Montreal, Ottawa, Pittsburgh
2006: Camden I & II, Continental II (NJ)
2008: Camden I & II, DC, MSG I & II (NYC), & EV: NYC II
    2009: Spectrum last 2 nights
    2012: EV: Orlando I & II, Ft. Lauderdale I
    2013: Brooklyn I & II
    2016: Ft. Lauderdale & Miami

If an east coast tour in August is in fact in the works, we will start to hear rumours for other places soon. You'd have to think that NYC, Philly, Boston, Toronto, Detroit and Chicago would be a lock for shows ...

    Let's hope so! :)

I hope it is true, I think it will be a run up the east coast starting in DC and going to Boston. Hope the south gets some shows though. Or maybe a few in the midwest.

I would add DC to that list before Detroit or Toronto.

Hilarious how so many East Coasters were yapping about how Ed's solo shows would probably be "boring" and "nothing compared to Pearl Jam," and now that he's rumored to be heading your way the tone has completely changed.

    Jealous fuckers. :D
