But the original poster MUST list the OFFICIAL point spreads a day or two before....

I would think Tuesday morning the "official" lines get posted in the thread and picks should be in by some agreed upon time Thursday as several weeks will have Thirday night games.

just a few thoughts for the vote-

i would post spreads tuesday am if there are enough spreads set- lets say all but 2 games
and if 3 games or more were not set - i would post spreads wed. am

what would have to be voted on is how to deal with thursday and saturday games

i think it could work where if you want a thursday game, pick it before kickoff and
make your other 5 picks before sunday at 1pm

i don't think you should have to pick the monday game
that just doesn't make sense to me
but we can vote

another thing to vote on-

say we get 20 members at 20 a head
400 units

1 way to keep the interest even more throughout the year is if you hit all six you get some units

say each week is worth 10 units
17 weeks = 170 units

230 units to overall winner at end of year

if no one goes six for six in week 1, it carrys over

and so on

and if there are more than 20 members the numbers go up accordingly

i like this idea to keep people interested week in and week out. those way down after x amount of weeks would still have something to play for.

i haven't read this whole thread but how do we protect against people cherry picking other people's picks though?

once you guys see how money i am you're all gonna just look at my posts and copy them.

seriously though....has there been any talk of one person running this and we just pm our picks to him and then he posts them sunday morning or something?




also---i would strongly prefer only nfl games.

i could get the private messages but it gets shady there
if i was not the guy getting the pm's all i would want is to see everyone's picks by 1-1:15 the latest
then it's legit
which means i would need picks by 11am sunday (just guessing)
i would then be able to put a spreadsheet of everyones picks on this thread at 1- 1:15 sunday
of course you could pm picks the day the spreads come out if need be

as for my piks
i would have to make them public at some point to be fair

honestly
what i want this to be is cheat-proof

i will post my picks asap after the spreads come out
i've been in a league like this before and it's hard enough to trust your own picks let alone anyone else's
the best will pick at about 65% and most at 50%

and at 1pm
everyone sees their picks on a spreadsheet
they see everyone else's picks
and it's legit
