    Sigh... I've been trying to get this dropped since my first post! You're the one who keeps getting involved in something that doesn't concern you, a concert in another country announced a week in advance. (and who doesn't have a life?) I understand everything you post, it's just completely irrelevant and off topic. Thankfully you have dropped this, and we don't have to read any more posts from you!

    Main Point: People are stupid to share information that would hurt their chances (or someone else's) at something. Advantages should be gained by hard work, innovation, seniority, etc. The playing field should not be artificially made "fair" to appease the lazy.
    Distant Secondary Point: It is fact that sharing this information has hurt more people than it has helped.

    dude your on a stupid mailing list that's for free and didn't give people updates for months on end till this concert. seriously get over it already.

    this email was on pearl jam's myspace bulletin and pearl jam's status update on facebook and hell of alot more people view them then this board. you don't seem to have a problem with those 2 posting this email.

    I find it funny that the soundgarden website talks baout ensuring only fans get the tickets...then it goes out to the entire world. I got an email from Live Nation about chicago concerts...it mentions the SG gig with the link on how to sign up.

    I've decided that this show is NOT about actually putting on an intimate concert for fans....it's about publicity and getting a ton of people to sign up on their website.

    I could use a little luck as well! Will book my plane ticket today if I win. Now, what I don't get, if I get the happy little email with the code, does that mean at 2pm I'm gauranteed tickets, or does it mean I'm still fighting for them? Probably won't get the email anyway, just curious.

    From a post on the soundgarden board:

    "I emailed them earlier in the week. They said the people picked would receive an email with a special link or code. Starting at 2pm you could purchase tickets. If you don't purchase the tickets by a certain time (at that time it was TBD) then the offer expires and someone else gets a chance...."

    Hey, that post was me!!!!!

    Stick waiting.... No one on the SG boards have heard anything.... So, I was checking over at the PJ boards to see if anyone had heard something yet....



    I hope that they just haven't sent the emails out yet!!!!

    I am doing the same thing! waiting here and the SG board to see if anyone hears anything! i cant take the suspense!! :lol:

    Ed, I think the named people have to pick up the tix. I would have thought it's the same set up as 10CC. I guess someone can still pick up and sell both tix or sell the spare.

    Neither me or my wife got an email... I can only imagine how many people entered since this was plastered EVERYWHERE.

    Plus I wonder how many people entered a ton of times under slightly different info...
