Wait wait wait.... My man has just text me offering to buy it for me as an 'essential' for the wedding

Phew ... was reading through this thread and feeling guilty for having mentioned it :shifty:

and how lovely are people offering to help you out ;)
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    Right,

drsluggo - My man will pay you for your spare. Thank you so very much. You've been exceptionally generous and have proved why I love this community so much. I'm gobsmacked.... in a good way :D PM me with details about when you want payment, where to send it to etc.

Dottles - Thanks darlin'! You didn't have to offer to do that, I really appreciate it *hugs* :D

audiodave - (you'll read this later) Thank you baby :D I know all this caused a headache but i'm really happy and grateful you're getting this for me, you didn't have to. I love you so much xxx

    Chime - Troublemaker ;)
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Kinda surprised Aural Exploits still has pre-orders left for the Into The Wild 10" vinyl. By now you would of thought it be all sold out. My only guess is cause it's a re-issue, there's no max limit on these.

I would guess its either unlimited or its going to be a larger run of like 5-10K... I mean... the Ten pic discs, Vs pic discs all lasted a long time in preorder because they had both a larger run and not a lot of publicity.

thats why they have all these pre-orders now! They'll probably determine the number of records after they have sold them, that way they dont make 50,000 and only sell 20,000....then they sit in their warehouses and end up on the Amazon clearance list

Trust me, anything Pearl Jam & Pearl Jam related on vinyl won't be sitting in their warehouses; especially Ed's Into The Wild record. 10club's 12" sold out in seconds. Now that this is a re-issue & a 10" vinyl, it'll do well.

This release would of been a sweet Record Store Day hit month's back!

anybody paying more then $30 for any PJ album besides Benny Hall is a fool IMO since all of the albums will be re-issued at sone point...

vinyl is back in a big way and everything is getting re-pressed... and i think i rememebr something about PJ reissuing everything for their 20th anniversary next year

it is only a record folks

hey hey hey, watch who you slag here. You're calling a good portion fo this board names.

no one knows for sure if/when everything is getting re-pressed. where does your info come from? yes, we all got that note from 10C, but so far it hasn't happened, nor has the EP, nor has a whole bunch of stuff.

Don't count your chickens until they're clucking in your mail box.

I won't ask anyone for anything... and our gift registry is money for our honeymoon... besides, I don't think he'd appreciate an ITW vinyl as much as I would... Wedding gifts should be for both of us!

(A PJ tour honeymoon has already been discouraged, PJ themed gifts would go down like a lead balloon! )

You'll need something 'new' for the wedding day and as an added bonus there's some 'blue' on the cover too!! ;)

Just went over to Aural Exploits, but ended up buying Frankie goes to Hollywood's Welcome to the Pleasuredome instead. Only joking. would prefer to get it from a UK supplier really - I always think there's too much to go wrong otherwise. Will try and keep my eyes open for UK links here

Anyone else get a email stating that there was a problem with their order and that I needed to confirm the order? Weird.
