how much do you think the original release will go down in price? once this comes out and people that just want the music figure out they can have it for 25 dollars instead of 300. it will probably level out round 125 150 for the original....just guessing, random thought, what do you think?
Not much. There is only one first issue. And for the pure collector will always be the most desirable.

your probably right im just stoked i can get one at a realistic price for a piece of plastic.....might even get two copies......one for when i'm drinking so i don't have to worry about scratching it!

Thanks, I have the 12" but must have this one as well.

So the first edition was 12" and this re-edition is 10" ???

Well re-issues are less exciting ;)

    Sorry, could not resist

skeptical at first. but just ordered a copy.

    thanks for posting this!
  • I'm sceptical.... There have been scams before

    Do I order? :?
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
  • This reissue also appears to have the same cover as the CD release. I much prefer the cover artwork featured on the original vinyl release. Also guessing that the reissue won't contain the deluxe book/liner notes either. Regardless, I'm glad for the vinyl reissue. Now I won't feel so bad about framing up the original release and not playing it

i just find it weird that there was no news leading up to this. ITW is one of the most sought after vinyls for PJ fans. you would expect to hear something.

The website I ordered off (soundstagedirect) is the same site I used to order Jar of Flies/SAP and I got that so I'm pretty confident.

I have an un-opened original that I traded someone a lot of framing for, but never opened it. I just ordered the re-release... would there be a noticeable difference in sound? Should I only play the re-release?
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

Ah but he's not a vinyl collector.

I can't get it. We have to put our wedding venue deposit down on Monday... frivolous things cannot be purchased.

    I'm so fuckin' gutted.
