Take two factual items... provide some sort of link between the 2... come up with a hair-brained conclusion that dim-witted television watchers will believe because they already have pre-concieved notions or ideals.
Example:
Fact: President Obama has black hair.
Fact: Adolph Hitler had black hair.
Fact: Both President Obama and Adolph Hitler have/had black hair.
Therefore, President Obama and Adolph Hitler are the same.

Glenn Beck's audience... sitting on the couch watching his show... say, "He's right... and he's not lying... therefore, Glenn Beck must be telling the truth... President Obama is HITLER! Where's my pens, I need to make a sign."
