I have a feeling my 10c tix for the PJ 2012 tour are gonna be even better than before. Lots of peeps seem pretty pissed and threatening to cancel their membership. I may just get up nice and close without having to win the lottery!
But man, I really do feel bad for all the people who have been dealing w/ the AV mess. We've gotten pretty used to the fiasco of purchasing 10c tix. But this is just insane. Not to mention, being told a new server was in place helped instill some hope.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. My 10c number is not bad either, as proven with our Hartford seats. There also appears to be an influx of new 10c members recently and if the new people get 10c tickets for Great Woods 12, that means one less older member gets shut out. It still puts a premium on actually lucking out and securing 10c tickets anyway, but to your point, we'll all be a few rows closer come GW12.

I know what you mean. My number isn't the best; 444***. For my number last year in Hartford, they were good seats. Section 117, row C, seats 3 and 4. I remember Tim saying something after the EV ticket sale that the demand for tickets is greater than the number of tickets they had. I was thinking PJDW is something like 100,000:1,000. It's probably more than that.

So I have been down in the dumps all day about not being able to get tickets for Alpine Valley. Have a place to stay and everything... but yesterday, couldn't get the site to load, today couldn't log in. Boo Boo also was trying as we had a plan to score a pair and share, like we are for the EV Providence and Boston shows. He got as far as having tix in the cart, but then the cart expired despite frantic refreshing.
It's not looking good for the trip to Wisconsin. Our backup plan was Montreal, but the show is the day before I'm supposed to be in Bar Harbor, Maine, with my trailer and my dogs, for a tournament.
I guess PJ2011 isn't happening for me.
But then I caught up on the posts on this thread, and thought, I am so lucky to be seeing EV three times, and especially to be able to go to the CT show with this merry gang _ we are going to have such a blast at the pre (and post) parties. Oh, and I guess at the show as well...

Well, for the Hartford pre-party last year Fenway and I just showed up and started drinking, talking, meeting new folks and having a good time. Most people were just standing around (obviously some were sitting at tables) but if I remember correctly the tables at the Black Bear are fairly small and don't sit more than 4 or 6. I would guess if you are at a table you would get a check for the table unless you ask to split it up.

I have two pairs of tickets to this EV show; one for myself, and one that I'm offloading to a friend. One pair is Orch F/Row W and the other is Mezz B/Row E. Can anyone who has been inside this place tell me which pair is "better"? I'm inclined to keep the Mezz B/Row E for myself, if for no other reason that the person I'm going with is short and I have a feeling she'll have more hope in actually seeing the stage in the Mezzanine. Neither pair is centered more than the other, either. I've obviously looked at the seating chart for the venue, but, you can only tell so much from those (ex, for all I know the Orch seats I have might actually be much further back then the Mezz seats are). Any input would be appreciated! Thanks.

I was lucky to see it ONCE in Reading, PA in 2004 on the Vote for Change tour, which was around the time Lost Dogs came out. I was in such awe of the song, I couldnt really absorb it at the time. I will get Alone in Boston or Hartford some day.
Also, I'm a +1 and I think Boo Boo will be taggin along with Unlost. cbrunelle wont be in Hartford, only in Providence (and Boston too?? I cant remember). I think Im just gonna have to keep a lookout for Fenway, and he'll get me to the rest of you
What time are the outta townas planning on arriving in Hartford? Seeing its a Saturday, I'll probably get up there fairly early...I'm only like 20 or so mins away...also, I want a nice parking spot in close proximity to the venue... Parking garages are the devil!!!

Ive only been to the venue once, and I was 4th row...but I can tell you that the venue is so small, that there really isnt a bad seat in orchestra section. Mezzanine im not sure about, b/c i was not up there in that area. Its a short as walk from the stage to the beer, which is right behind the last row of the orchestra seats...
The orchestra area is on a slight incline, so being able to see shouldnt be too much of an issue there (not to mention, from what I understand, the EV solo shows are generally seated). Im not sure if the mezzanine area is also on an incline. So that may be worth calling the venue and asking. If I had to choose, I personally would choose the orchestra area over mezzanine. Also, keep in mind that the mezzanine area does not hang over the orchestra area, so the first row of mezzanine seats would be toward the back of the orchestra section.

I have two pairs of tickets to this EV show; one for myself, and one that I'm offloading to a friend. One pair is Orch F/Row W and the other is Mezz B/Row E. Can anyone who has been inside this place tell me which pair is "better"? I'm inclined to keep the Mezz B/Row E for myself, if for no other reason that the person I'm going with is short and I have a feeling she'll have more hope in actually seeing the stage in the Mezzanine. Neither pair is centered more than the other, either. I've obviously looked at the seating chart for the venue, but, you can only tell so much from those (ex, for all I know the Orch seats I have might actually be much further back then the Mezz seats are). Any input would be appreciated! Thanks.

I was lucky to see it ONCE in Reading, PA in 2004 on the Vote for Change tour, which was around the time Lost Dogs came out. I was in such awe of the song, I couldnt really absorb it at the time. I will get Alone in Boston or Hartford some day.
Also, I'm a +1 and I think Boo Boo will be taggin along with Unlost. cbrunelle wont be in Hartford, only in Providence (and Boston too?? I cant remember). I think Im just gonna have to keep a lookout for Fenway, and he'll get me to the rest of you
What time are the outta townas planning on arriving in Hartford? Seeing its a Saturday, I'll probably get up there fairly early...I'm only like 20 or so mins away...also, I want a nice parking spot in close proximity to the venue... Parking garages are the devil!!!

Ive only been to the venue once, and I was 4th row...but I can tell you that the venue is so small, that there really isnt a bad seat in orchestra section. Mezzanine im not sure about, b/c i was not up there in that area. Its a short as walk from the stage to the beer, which is right behind the last row of the orchestra seats...
The orchestra area is on a slight incline, so being able to see shouldnt be too much of an issue there (not to mention, from what I understand, the EV solo shows are generally seated). Im not sure if the mezzanine area is also on an incline. So that may be worth calling the venue and asking. If I had to choose, I personally would choose the orchestra area over mezzanine. Also, keep in mind that the mezzanine area does not hang over the orchestra area, so the first row of mezzanine seats would be toward the back of the orchestra section.

Yeah, I remember Pearl jam in Hartford last year I wore my Tom Brady Pats jersey. All I remember was in line to the pisser or the beer stand all the NY/CT chuckleheads saying how Eli and the Giants were way better and how the Pats choked in the SB against them. NY fans suck!
