    Who was the "house" band that played before the derby? I was at a bar and couldn't hear them, but they looked familiar.

    Who was the "house" band that played before the derby? I was at a bar and couldn't hear them, but they looked familiar.

    They were awful. I think it was Train.

    Can they just replay the home run derby's that they showed on ESPN back in the day. Ie. Mickey Mantle, Hammerin Hank, etc.

    I thought it was great. Let them have fun. They haven't had a big game in how many years? Plus, the hr derby is so boring and repetitive, that was fun to watch. He could have easily hit some hrs and shut everyone up (came close a bunch)

    That also used to be a serious rivalry in the late 70s and 80s. Then there has been resentment harbored there towards the yankees due to economic matters.
