How do they figure the home run derby? Why isn't Konerko on there? He's got more HRS than 6 of those on the list.

Wasn't Konerko just added to the team yesterday? I believe the HRD participants were determined a few days ago. Konerko's been a beast this year and deserves to be in this thing, but I think his late admittance to the ASG is the reason he's not going tonight.

I think Erin Andrews will be there but probably not wearing a dancing with the stars dress. But that, if at all could be the only good thing about this stupid program.

As fun as it would be to watch him (and it would give me a reason to watch) I'm glad he isn't in it. He did it in '02, and had a horrible 2nd half. There's examples from the last 5 years or so, of players who do well in the Derby and go on to have huge 2nd half slumps (Abreu '05, Wright '06, Hamilton '08). It messes with your head and your swing.

    I'm picking Corey Hart.
He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.

how many times will berman reference 'wearing sunglasses at night' when corey hart is up?

Like 15 years ago, my dad saw Berman in a bar and got his autograph for me. I thought it was soo cool. Then I grew-up and realized how big of a douche that guy is. No idea where that sig is now..
