    i guessing it's when they ported the data over from the older forums. i'd bet they didn't used to archive the joined data, thus that field was empty and defaulted to 1970.

    or they did archive the old data, but it was in a different dating format and once ported over, it produced weird dates.


    the forum i used to run defaulted to 1969 if it didn't have the right entry.
