Rich is adding Marc motherfuckin Ford and weird Ed to his band and they've become The Magpie Salute. Debut in NY in January. Already had Sven on bass

Been waiting on this for awhile. This is gonna jam.

Well they added two more shows at that same venue in January. It would certainly stand to reason that they are testing the water and if all goes well a tour will follow.

It's always good to see a page bump for the TBC thread. Didn't expect it to be this. Sad and unexpected news. RIP to Ed :disappointed:

The single has grown on me.
Love Comin' Home as a sendoff to Ed and an entrance of the band.
War Drums is just a motherfucking jam.

The Magpie Salute show in Indy last night was OUTSTANDING!!
Billed as "An Evening with The Magpie Salute"
they took the stage around 9 and played until 11:30pm!!
Incredible performance and a really good setlist to kick off their US TOUR.
Here's a link to the setlist if you'd like to see what was played:

    https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-magpie-salute/2017/the-vogue-indianapolis-in-13e581b5.html

Rich was in rare form and we actually noticed he was smiling most of the night.
John Hogg is an excellent frontman and his vocals were spot on all evening!!
It was SOOOO LOUD in the venue the floors were vibrating...
but an overall GREAT experience and I can't wait to see them again in Detroit on Sunday!!

So now there's two glorified Black Crowes cover bands.  Magpie Salute and As the Crow Flies.
I really wish these guys could all get along.
