i prefer miller lite for a cheap american beer, but cheap american beer can be enjoyed under the right circumstances.

Of course. I am by no means a beer snob, but I do know what's good and what's not good. And Miller Lite is the perfect summer tailgating beer. It's my beer of choice for mass consumption. I'm in love with the 16 oz aluminum can bottle things they've got going on.

All Anheuser Busch products are shit.

Every now and then i do just want a 6 pack of BUD to guzzle as quick as i can. a 6 of bud and a 6 of Magic hat #9, guzzle the bud, sip the 9.

#9 is no sipping beer. You must step up your beer game. ;)

If i drink the #9 to quick i get those looks out of the corner of the eye from my wife. The slow down mister, i'm already driving you home i can't carry you too looks. :( it's all a game, you gotta know how to play it.

Definitely. Miller Lite is my choice when I don't have the $$$ to buy the micro-brewed stuff I really want. That or Blue Moon's Honey Moon...

KOKANEE!!! When it is ice-cold on a hot summer day, nothing is more refreshing.

It's so damn good, I forgive the Canadians for shorting me a beer in each case with their 11.5 ounce-per-bottle non-sense.

But I've been reading a lot of REALLY good things about Victory Prima Pils, and I'm itching to try it myself.

Ok, I tried it Friday night. Bottle, poured into proper glass. Good, not great by any means. Urquell Pilsener tops it easily.

Sam Adams Noble Pils also easily beats the Victory. I'm disappointed but will give it one more try before giving up on it.

Also tried Yards Ale(from down near Philly) Friday night. Draft. Tasted ok until the pine forest finish. Funny smell, couldn't pinpoint it but I knew it from somewhere. Asked best friend what it smelled like. His response: "Cat piss," spot on, confirmed by 5 people we were with. Cheers!

Okay, have the next week off from work, so I will be picking up some brew on the way home.

What else besides Oberon from Bell's (my personal fave) and Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy ?

I envision a few nights out on the deck with the Philly box set going......

    any suggestions?

    good call with the leinenkugels...

Anybody interested in craft/local beer needs to watch the documentary Beer Wars. I promise you'll never look at the beer case in your local store the same ever again.
