Do the frames have hooks where we can easily hang them to the wall?

Yup - All are wired on the back and (unless I run out while shipping) I'm including hooks. ...and not the crappy "silver" hooks. They're brass hooks with black tempered-steel nails. A detail most won't notice, but... they're just better. :D

All you'll need is a wall and a hammer. :)

    Hi Everyone,

An update from PJ Poster Framing Central...

It's taking me a bit longer than I anticipated to complete and finish everyone's posters. I've been working 10am to 11pm (or later) every day for the last few weeks, and I've still got a number to go. I should have the majority of the posters shipped out by the end of the month (a number of you have them already) but I just wanted to give an update! A few of you said September shipping was ok, so those will be shipped in Sept. There were a few specialty-cut mat requests, and those will be at the tail end of shipping, since those involve more time.

If you have a question or needed yours to ship out by a certain time frame, just send me a PM (unless we already discussed a hard deadline). Aside from that, thanks for your patience! I want everyone to be thrilled with their posters, so I'm being very diligent to keep the quality as best as humanly possible. When your package is ready to ship out is when you'll hear from me.

I've had a TON of people asking when I'll put up the next special. ...I'm going to start the next list in the next day or so.

....and for those asking for photos, since it takes a loooong time per photo to get it nice and clear, I'm just putting up a handful of random ones, but at some point in upcoming weeks we'll have a lot more photos.

    Ok! Here's a few more photos! :D

    Thanks!
    Chris

Who's is this? I want.... Let's make a deal...(I laugh because I know you're not going to part with it)...

Work looks nice Chris... If I wasn't so partial to Museum glass I'd send you something of mine... Maybe I'll think about it for the next round... Are you doing a Hartford in this set? I'm still waiting to get mine from Mr. Hampton... he told me it should be on it's way this week....

Museum Glass IS an option! :D

...and I'll have to check my notes to see if I'm framing a Hartford, and the DC Reaper is already in the hands of the customer who ordered it. :)

No offense, you do great work and all... but my framer here in Houston gets me the Museum glass for a lot cheaper, and he does great work, and there's no shipping involed, so everything is pretty cheap. I'm ballparking that to ship everything up to you and get it back with museum glass I'd probably be looking at around 3 bills, and usually I can get it all done with some really nice gallery quality frames (nothing custom, but extremely nice quality) for a little over 2 bills...

Don't ask me how he gets the glass that cheap, but it happens somehow...

That being said, when you post up the next set of details I'll consider it... Mr. Hampton still needs to get me my Hartford... he's been 2 months now doing a doodle! :?

My pleasure! Let me know everything is cool when you get home!

A number of people have shipments en route to them as we speak, or have already gotten theirs. I still have a number more I'll be shipping by the end of the month, and a few that were going to be done in sept will be shipped then. Phew! ...they're keeping me busy! :)

Yours WILL be a sample. :D It's an awesome poster, the EV with helmet one. It's not quite done yet, but it will get online with a good closeup, but you'll probably get it in your hands first. :)

Since each good closeup photo takes 20-30 minutes to get formatted, and I'm framing 75 posters, with maybe 60 aren't redundant posters, it's gonna take me 20-30 hours to get all the photos up. ...they're coming though. Just don't want to hold up orders for the photos. :D

Terrific job packing the frames  The posters look amazing. I cant say enough about how professional the Hoff is, and the quality of his work, top notch. Now its time to figure out where to put them.

    Great Job

No worries. :) I'm not sure where "much more variety of matting choices" comes from, as we have maybe 150 matting color options, but I guess that guy may have a lot more.

If you're getting that kinda deal with Bainbridge Museum Matting (as opposed to Crescent or Artique which is less expensive and lower quality but it's what most shops use), and if you're getting Bainbridge Museum Foamboard (as opposed to regular foamboard or acid free foamboard which is cheaper and lower quality but what most shops use), and getting genuine TruVue Conservation Glass (as opposed to regular glass or generic "uv" glass) and real wood frames, then I'd be very impressed with that price. ...but something doesn't add up with that low of a price, as I'm very familiar with what the lowest bulk wholesale costs are of these products. But if you're happy with them, keep them busy! :D I had a board member tell me he price up my same combination, comparing the same frame and glass and everything, and his shop charged close to $300 per piece, so I'm confident in what I'm selling and the price. ...but again, you're guy might be making you an incredible deal, or using lower quality products without letting you know. :)

  • I received my four frames from the Hoff, and I must say they are amazing. His framing ability is top notch, shipping is straightforward and informed, and his customer relations are above and beyond almost anyone I've ever done business with. If you're on the fence about having him frame your Pearl Jam treasures, take it from me, you won't regret going with the Hoff. Thanks again, man! Can't wait to send you the next batch!

It was a pleasure JP! Thanks for the reference!

I look forward to working on your next batch. I'll probably start that list next week or so. Was going to start it the list this week, but I need to figure out logistics, since we're entering my "busy season" now.

Got my two frames yesterday. I knew they would be great but I'm blown away. Just wanted to throw my reference up here as well that the Hoff does amazing work. He can frame every one of my posters from now until the eternity cause I'll be sending more down there to Virginia. I can't believe this happened but this is to credit his skill-- My wife likes PJ as long as it is acoustic or just Eddie Vedder or Low Light (yeah I know, I'm trying) and when I came back from MSG 1 she hated the Soto print. So I was amazed when yesterday when we opened the box she commented on how much she loved the colors of the frame and the matte and how good the blues would look in our bedroom something something (some bedroom decor talk beyond me) so as far as I'm concerned Hoff is a genius cause now the previously (in her mind) ugly MSG 1 poster is going on our bedroom wall - I'd call that a miracle.
    Thanks Hoff!!
