You responeded by insinuating that I don't believe GW should be criticized. Quite a leap.

No leap at all. You have a problem with people making cheapshots towards George W. Bush:
But honestly, I don't think I feel sorry for GW at all, except for the cheapshots, but that is to be expected.

And it's you that's trying to start a fight, not me. Stop twisting things.

I didn't read all this, I read what Brynzie wrote. I just have one rather silly comment.
I meet people as I go through life that I can picture as kindergarteners. You know, well maybe not, that face you can picture at age five. George W is one of those people for me. It always effects how I feel about them.

Huh? I seriously have no idea how we could be seeing this so different. Maybe I'll use math since it is the language of all:

Cheap Shots + Criticism of policy + criticism of methods = all criticism

Hence, cheap shots aren't all criticism. Anyhow, this is a pretty worthless conversation, so feel free to comment back but I'm done now.

i wrote this in that thread on worst president ever on the AET:

but, most ex-presidents go and take up a cause or start a foundation ... at least make the appearance they are trying to make the world a better place ... W on the other hand golfs 3 days a week and does fucking public speaking tours for cash ...

the guy never did care for anything i suppose ...

But, I do hold him responsible for the decisions and actions he made from 2001-2008 that have lead to consequences that exist today. He can spin his tale anyway he wants, but there was no need to go into Iraq and he should be held responsible for the deaths caused by his decisions. I have this bad habit called 'personal responsibility' that I just can't seem to shake.
And people try to compare Hurricane Katrina with the BP Gulf mess. Nope. Only similarity... the region. If Hurricane Katrina was created by the Casablanca Ceiling Fan corporation and it spun out of control over New Orleans for 40 days while Casablanca execs pondered ways to stop Katrina, I wouldn't feel that his 3 day delayed response was a poor decision/non-action. Just as, if the Gulf oil gusher was the result of a natural occurance and stopped gushing... if Obama waited 3 days while dead bodies lay in the streets of an American city before even acknowledging the disaster... I'd be all over his boney black ass.
Bush keeps thinking that History will vindicate his administration... and it probably will when the Texas board that decides history blurs facts and slants the story. I mean, Joseph McCarthy is going to be vindicated and presented as heroic in upcoming History text books. If a guy like McCarthy can be re-written... why not G.W. Bush?

Pointless post! These types of events happen all the time and are usually booked far in advance. Part of being president is to host the dog and pony show. I am sure you know this but choose to push your convoluted view of news stories to muddy the water and attempt to produce controversy out of thin air.

    Thanks for nothing!

Edit: how the hell is this campaining anyway?

Okay...but when the President speakes there are a few people interested or even vested in what he is saying thats why he is filmed and aired on TV. Am I missing something I really am trying to understand your point.

Or are you saying the president tryes to get on TV just to watch himself? :?

the whole country has a vested interest in this guy(even byrnzie), I feel the same about nobama as most of you do about Bush, I didn't vote for Bush but I find it real funny that all these people keep blaming Bush for everything that is wrong with the country today, btw he may as well watch him self(<joking) I usally change the channel when that goof ball is on the air.

Ok so you agree then there is a reason he is being filmed and aired on TV so you feel as though "nobama" is campaigning cause he annoys you. Does that sound about right to you? So you know the reason bush get an excessive amount of the blame is because he either A. Is Responsible (all current wars) B. Is Mostly Responsible (economy) or C. he initiated the atmosphere for disaster (Gulf oil spill) IMO The only thing Bush actually tried to improve was Immigration Policy but his own party blocked him.

Can you articulate why it is you hate Obama with out using tea party talking points or Glen Beck dripple?
