Going to Yellowstone over the 4th of July. Can't wait to get away from everything and just relax.

    Grand Canyon/Arizone in August.

We went to Playa del Carmen 2 years ago. Great time. Need to go back.

Been on vacation since the beginning of May and the only things that have been good so far were Pearl Jam in Hartford and the LOST finale. Also, been playing baseball. I'm just going to let the summer play out and see what happens. Really hoping I make a trip to L.A. and visit cousins there.

Playa del Carmen is great...my wife and I went in January 2009. If you can, try and take a day trip down to Tulum to see the Mayan ruins - pretty awesome.

We want to go back at some point - great vacation.

No summer vacations planned...just taking off a lot of Mondays since we already have off on Fridays during the summer. Hoping to do some weekend getaways/day trips with as many 3-day work weeks as possible :)

I'll be taking my vacation during the Aussie summer...heading back to South Australia and really hoping to see the Gold Coast this time around. Can't wait for December!

Yup, should be hot as a mofo, and that's why we were okay with August. We're ready for heat and sun. Definitely will be bringing some sunblock...I'm as white as a ghost.

Staycations are always nice...hope it's very peaceful and relaxing for you. :)

I haven't been on a real vacation in 8 years and this summer will be no exception! It's just been the past year or so that not being able to go anywhere has really started to bum me out. I think because the people around me have to started to amp up their trips, going to cooler places more frequently. I was hoping to use a wedding in FL in October as kind of a vacation, even though I would never pick Florida for myself...but that was wishful thinking. Just paying for the flight and two nights in the hotel is freaking me out, I have no idea how I'm going to do it.

Alaska is most cool. We went last june. Make sure you take a eye cover, since it never gets dark that time of year. weird man. We only took a day cruise out of seward, but that was pretty cool.

we were going to do ireland, but with the economy the way it was, we post poned that. talked about NY but i don't have any desire to go there. then we talked SF but i don't think either of us was super excited. so then we talked about carpeting the upstairs.

so it might be a stay at home and maybe do a day trip or two. we'll see.

didn't say there wasn't stuff to do, just nothing that makes me really want to go. it's not like i don't have a big city here with world class muesums, eats, sports etc.....personally, i'd rather go to the grand canyon or one of the big national parks out west. plus i might run into metsfan
