Hey guys and girls I am trying to decide whether to download MSG 1 or 2. I have noticed that Even Flow was not played on MSG 2 which makes it somewhat unique as EF normally gets played every gig. Igot shit is my favourite song and that was on MSG 1.
Anyone care to help with my choice?

I was at both shows and I own both Bootlegs.
I would have to say MSG 2, but just slightly.
The MSG 2 concert was way better by far for me, but that is because of the crowd energy. This really doesn't translate well to the recording b/c the crowd noise is extremely low on the cds.
If you really want I Got Shit, and thats the main reason for downloading then go for MSG 1, because they both are great boots.
but Slow Lukin should be the only reason that you need!
Hope this helps!

The halo effect from this show has been huge! Just ordered the boot today after wearing out the Boston boot. Can't wait to revisit the electricity from this shaking arena and the incredible crowd! 34th show and it just blew me away!!
I was at the Gathering of the Vibes last weekend and Saturday night I was rollin face  so I decided to listen to the MSG 2 boot for the first time since the show, at about 3 am with my old reliable discman.
What made it so great was I was also rollin face at MSG2 for the show and listening to the boot rollin face again was like a super rollin flashback. Everyone around me was listening to the Dead and Further and such and I was on the beach singing DTE at the top of my lungs.
Before you get the idea that I'm an X head, I hadnt rolled since last years GOTV.
So it's 4 days later and I am sitting at the pool in Vegas and a book lent to me by the great CDP has the perfect description..
From Paul Feig's Superstud... (Great BTW)
"There was something about the all-encompassing power and volume of the music and otherworldliness of the flashing lights and being surrounded by people who were talented and creative and not the kind of people who were mean to you or wanted to beat you up that all combined to make one of those magical moments that sometimes occur in your life-where you feel transported out of your body, away from all your earthy cares; in which you see the world in a different light, as a collection of people and energy, and you suddenly love it all and want to experience it all."
Glad I could share it with all of you and my kid...
Bingo! Just might be the greatest moment of my 29 years
Damn this show. Just saw a few clips of the show on YouTube and now I want the boots from both shows.

Opening with Corduroy was unexpected but awesome, straight into one of my favorites: Hail Hail, followed by the best DTE I've ever heard!
Breath was an awesome surprise and other main-set highlights were Grievance, Not for You, and Why Go.
The End was a gorgeous beginning to Encore 1 which brought the house down with Lukin II, BRY(!!!), and a Given to Fly -> STBC -> RVM finish.
Ed's speech before the second encore was really heartfelt, and from there they played the best versions of Better Man (with that unforgettable ovation that made the floor shake) and Black I've ever heard. This encore was phenomenal - Hunger Strike into Alive was powerful enough to close the show - but Kick out the Jams really got the place rocking and Ledbetter was awesome as always.
It's already been said tons of times, I just thought I needed to say it myself. It was really amazing! Thanks to the band and the crowd for a night I'll never forget!

Almost 5 months later, and not a day has gone by that I have not felt grateful to have been part of this night. Singing, dancing hi fiving strangers, the rush and energy pumping... It quickly surpassed the Newark show three nights before, which I had certainly thought was my best live PJ show yet.. But Friday had happened, a Friday at the Garden, once I got my poster I knew I was in for a great night. Too many highllights. Ugh.

This was my 50th PJ show and one of the best I've seen in 20 yrs (Philly 3 is the closest)! Was blessed by friends to get a 3rd row ticket, Mike's side center. What an incredible night that I will never forget. It was as though the band & audience were one, literally shaking the rafters of the Garden. Whenever I feel down, I put on the DVD and relive every minute. So many highlights but when Ed broke down during RVM, it showed how much the fans mean to the group as the band does to us. I had never seen him have so touched at a show in the past. There was a definite surreal aura in the air that night. It reminds me why I've invested so much time following this incredible group of artists and grateful for the awesome family I've come to love over the years. So nice to read so many others share a similar feeling. Cannot wait for PJ20 details to see them for the 53rd + time, after Bridge & not counting the fabulous side projects & past/upcoming EV solo shows. Looking forward to the next 20 yrs!!!
