It's an amazing song! I love that it's a concert staple. And yes, I'm glad Mike came around on it. I think it was the 2000 tour, somewhere around then, when he referenced being bored with it, but as the 2003 tour was starting - and when this interview took place - he had come back around on it and was enjoying it and trying to improve the solo each time. One of my favorite PJ songs, for sure.
Me too and knowing that Mike didn't enjoy it..kinda distracted me from it.
Kinda like at Indy (I told this story before) when everyone was wearing ponchos cause of the tornado shit going on and right in the middle of Lukin, a blue rain poncho came sailing through the air from the front to the back at lightening speed and engulfed this guys face..he looked like he thought he was being attacked..and now that is all I can think of when hearing Lukin.
