That's Jim Rice ... Jim Ed Rice, who wore #14 for the Boston Red Sox ... boyhood idol, and Hall of Famer.

I wore #14 on all my baseball & softball jerseys.

(btw, my name is Jon, not Jim ... ha)

I am sorry for defending you as a fellow woman in an earlier thread. Perhaps you are not. This site needs to make public the "gender" selection that we can choose to display on our profiles. (Why doesn't it, hmm????)

I got the Grace Under Pressure reference right away. That phrase is more feminine than masculine. You mentioned living with your adolescent daughter, travelling around with her, and insisting on standing right next to her when she is being examined by a doctor- again, those are situations more likely to be carried out by a woman than a man. You said you gained weight when you had a child- I thought that meant pregnancy.

But most recently, I saw you mention that you used a URINAL at a public event.

    Gah, I'm so confused......

:D That's too funny. Well I'm a single parent father raising my daughter and we do everything together. I missed when you said all that misunderstanding (when did I gain weight after having a child?) but it's still too funny.

...or you can just buy me a couple beers and slices of pizza at The Pie Hole and we'll call it good ;)

No reason I can't do both. We'll just consider that pizza and beer your last meal. Should probably wait until after the Crowes play to get dinner.

Ah, good thinking. Definitely some Crowes before my last slice of pie.

Back when PHAT was the new word for "cool", my cousin and i were bowling and thought LEPHT would be a good substitute for phat.

At that time i started playing everquest and all my characters were some combination of the word.

    Lepht was a warrior
    lephty was my enchanter

My user name is kinda emoish and unexciting in that regard, but the reason it's SoonForgotten2 is somewhat amusing.

Back in... i think it was 2000, when all the Sony boards were linked and such. Myself, under the sign-in SoonForgotten and another jammer decided one night to terrorise the Jessica Simpson message board. It was pretty much a slaughter.

The next day though, I found out that my user name had been banned because Jessica Simpson was a Sony label artist and I was banned from all their message boards, including Pearl Jam's. So i craft the very sneaky alias of "SoonForgotten2" for my revival.

Uh, because it became a nickname amongst my lady friends in high school, Gabe being my actual name - an affectation if you will. My numerous nicknames from my guy friends usually revolved around the idea I was tall, thin, and laid back. It could be worse I guess, they could have called me shit head.
