Yesterday was a good mail day.  This is finally starting to feel real!

Duuuude. Holy shit. What days did you get? Where are you staying?
Got the Wednesday practice round.  We're staying in Aiken, SC.  Rented a house there and only a 30-40 min drive to Augusta.  And obviously have to play some golf ourselves....flying in Monday and playing Mon/Tues.

Shot 89 today, not bad as it was my 1st real round since August of last year. Played a few weeks ago, more like paradise golf conditions were real shit. Today I was focusing as I’ve recovered from 3 foot surgeries… and I was pleasantly surprised at my progress

its been Hellish at times, really tough to build strength and balance back. I’ve tried to really focus through the winter on lil min milestones … it’s been frustrating but . i feel  like I’m finally where I need to be. Easy to take shit for granted when you think it’s always gonna be ok… I’ve learned a bunch this past 6 months, I’m grateful I didn’t give in

miseed my 1st ace by 2feet on a 172yd well protected par 3… that would’ve been special

Just nice to be out on what started as a 75 degree day with 3 great friends… then it dropped to like 50 , sun disappeared….seeing that they were excited after seeing me in a bad spot…. It’s great when you feel people genuinely care

    looking forward to this season

glad you’re back out there. Question: I don’t golf much but work at one of the busiest courses in Salt Lake. 80,000 rounds per year. the divot situation on our tees looks nothing like that. we have a guy(s) who sands and seeds the divots daily. Is the divot situation in your picture normal?

It’s been really shitty weather in March, we got a few nice days a few weeks ago but here in NY it’s been brutal… there were signs that they were in the midst of turning the coarse over for the spring but I agree it was dicey on a few tee boxes…it’s a nice public coarse too.

you should play more if you get perks… I was just excited to get some fresh air and some sun… weird day… was almost 80 first 4 holes, cloud cover caused the sun to disappear and it dropped to like 50 quick

    Now it’s 44 today

Shot a 79 today, and walked the whole thing.  I think this is round 4 on the year and since my knee surgery.  I'm getting back close to dropping some good scores.  I still have the pulls a bit, which is left over from not being able to shift on my left leg for the last few years.  Yesterday I only walked the front, so was glad to be able to do all 18 today.

Sadly I have had to stop . Right when the weather is good typically. I think golf was causing health issues.

Yesterday was a good mail day.  This is finally starting to feel real!

Just curious, how much did a pass cost? I enter every year and have never won. Even if I did, not sure I could swing the cost.

$100 each for the Wednesday practice round.  Not bad at all.  The place was absolutely incredible.  Will post some pictures later.

Went to the Wednesday practice round.  Hard to put into words how incredible this place is.  When you walk out and see the first hole you're just blown away by how massive it is.  I know everyone says it, but the TV just doesn't do justice to the elevation changes.  #10 was prob my favorite hole and I could have sat there and stared at 12 for hours.  A day to remember.

^ good for you… bucket list fulfillment I’m sure. Goosebumps must be an understatement. I’m looking forward to a Ryder cup @ Bethpage Black… I grew up .5 Mile away, went on US Open & PGA there… not Augusta, but I always loved it even before the big events.

Well I managed to get a round in and shot 82 with the pins set up for a comp that had been on before our round. I haven't played for 2 months so I'm very pleased with that.

Nice! I have been to a few US Opens and PGA Championships here in the northeast. You cannot really appreciate how difficult the courses are and how good these pros are until you see them in person. Those 225 yard iron shots from the rough to an elevated green that land 5 feet from the hole are just incredible. TV makes it look easy. Its not.

Yeah man I still can't believe I was actually there.  Just blown away.

Concur on Bryson.  Rory's 2nd shot on 15 today was absolutely sick.  Really hope he puts it away tomorrow.  What a Sunday coming up.
